Perfect size to offer guests on the shelf outside my apartment. Being able to offer a cookie is a nice change from just candy. Taste good too!

Amazing product

I paid about $50 for 3 boxes/3 flavors. I had never had them but I took the risk thinking they’d be cute for gift baskets. First, taste. They’re ok. The shortbread doesn’t have a ton of flavor and the chocolate center is shallow. To eat it in one bite, to me, is 75% cookie, 25% chocolate and i would have wanted at least double the chocolate. To offset the cookie, I bit it all off around the edges which left a little bite the size of my thumb nail. Although tiny, that bite was good at a proper 50/50 ratio. Second, freshness. It could be delivery in Texas heat (although I brought them right away) but of the 6 I tested, most centers were stuck to the wrapper and seemed less than fresh. I spent too much to not use them but they won’t be a highlight.

Here are the bullet points. Tiny cookie- just a little over 1 inch square. Very tasty- not too sweet. Box indicates a serving size of 3 cookies and 13 servings per box- that means 39 cookies inside, not 40 like the item description indicates. They are definitely pricey at over 40 cents per cookie at the regular price, but I bought 2 boxes when they were having some sort of special...it's to put in small gift favor bags so I'm buying for cuteness and quality, not cost. The box had scotch tape on it to keep the fold out cardboard dispenser from coming loose. I don't believe the box was previously open since other customers reported this issue as well. It's just how thru package and ship this item.

Bought this as a gift and thought it was made in france. The cookies are about the size of a 50 cent piece. And are individuall wrapped with a box that has an opening to dispense the cookies. My box arrived open and the cookies were scatterd in box some broken. The box itself was glued open. So this item wasnot suitable for gift as intended. My bad for not reading carefully before buying. My bad for not knowing how to send people pictures of my complaint. Cookies were just ok. Dark chocolate woulda been better.

Here's what we wrote to the company:"Mes amis,We discovered the dark chocolate cookie squares on a Delta flight a few months ago. We loved the taste and were impressed by the use of real butter and cocoa, and the absence of seed oils.Now we see you are adding sunflower oil. Pourquoi??Seed oils are unhealthy and completely unnecessary! Ces sont la merde!!💩Please eliminate them, or lose us as customers.
