I bought this device to help my aging eyes while working on wristwatches and other close-up tasks around the house. Watches are a hobby. There are many jobs that a DY'er like me can do (changing and sizing bracelets, changing batteries, minor modifications, etc.) thereby saving what I would have to pay a professional. This headset makes things so much easier. The headband is nicely padded and is easily adjustable for size. The light module has two brightness settings and vertical adjustment. The many lenses provide multiple magnification settings, used singly or in pairs (two slots to hold lenses in combination if necessary). The light is re-chargable using a USB cord which can be plugged in conveniently. It is not necessary to remove the light module for charging, as some reviews have stated. Altogether very well made and an invaluable accessory for close-up work.

Box of magnifiers, plus mini can be used together or separately, and able to use TWO magnifiers if necessary. No need to change glasses, just lens, light has 3 levels of brightness, angle it to object. Battery life good. Very impressed with the wide magnification choices, do recommend it.

I do older style flow solder and my eyes are not what they once were. I like this, it is not as heavy as some of the others I have used and the charge on the light gets me through many hours of solder repairs. The biggest thing I like about this unit was the stacked lens sets. Being able to set my magnification was great. The next thing I liked a lot was the focal length, I had lots of space between me and my work. I didn't keep hitting the headset with my iron or getting smacked by my solder remover. A couple of the other techs at work want to order a set too.

It is easy to adjust the headband so my wife and I both can use the same one and we don't have to take out glasses off. The light and making adjustments allow you to get everything where you want it. The major case is nice and compact, only wish the had some sort of handle for when you put them in/out or adjust.

I purchased a DIY electronic clock that involved insertion and soldering of tiny components. When I started the kit, it was instantly obvious that some sort of optical magnification was a necessity. The component identification alone was impossible without it. This device perfectly fits the bill. Several levels of lens magnification are included to suite your particular need/application. There’s also an LED light(USB chargeable) with two levels of brightness to illuminate your work. All the lens and light positions are fully adjustable, as well as an infinitely adjustable headband to keep it securely positioned on your noggin. I completed my clock, and know that any future need I have for magnification is readily available. If you do any fine work, you will love these!

Good battery life on the light, and multiple options for magnification. Use this regularly for cross stitch and couldn't be happier!

Works okay. The magnifying may not work well if you wear glasses - the lenses rubbed against the lenses of my glasses and it was frustrating. But the real issue is the battery life. It runs out of battery after only 2 hours or so. I will say that when the battery is full, the light is nice and bright.

This product design was so clever. It gives you the power to adjust the strength you need, plus it allows for the adjustments in your vision down the road. It is well thought out. I'm sorry to say that I had to return it due to my Step-Father's low-vision/legally blind vision needs. This product goes up to 14X, which is impressive, but, his vision was not improved. He may need a different type of product. Good luck, Great Product.
