NECA - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990 Movie) - 1/4 Scale Action Figure - Donatello

I am a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Especially the 1990 live action movie. I can remember how long the lines were when the movie premiered. I probably seen the film at least 10 times. It holds a special place in my heart. When NECA decided to make replicas of the heroes based of the 1990 movie, my jaw just hit the floor. It took a really long time to finally receive the figure and I can honestly say that it was well worth waiting. I am totally blown away on how accurately detailed this figure is. I also didn't realize how tall he was too. The bandana is cloth. The bo staff is wood. It also comes with 5 extra hands, a slice of pizza and a canister of the radioactive ooze that mutated the turtles. This figure, along with the up and coming Raphael, Leonardo and Michelangelo are a must have for anyone who is a TMNT fan and especially for the fans of the 1990 New Line Cinema film. You won't be disappointed.

This is awesome. It looks incredibly realistic and is BIG! Once I got him posed properly, I caught myself continually looking at him as I almost expected him to start moving around due to how accurate he looks compared to the movies. I was worried that once I bought this one, I'd have a desire to purchase the other 3 turtles and that concern was validated as Leonardo is now scheduled for delivery on wednesday. These figures aren't cheap, but when you consider the quality and the fact that a hot toys version of this would cost $100's more, it's a steal! I would certainly recommend these figures for any 80's babies that still think the original early 90's TMNT movies were the best (because they ARE!).

Got this for my grandson for his birthday. He likes to collect different types of figures. This made him light up with happiness when he saw it. It is heavy & solid. Very good quality. It comes with extra hands to hold different weapons. Costly but for a collectable I'm told that's the price.

At first I was angry, my eyes noticed some bad paint job on the belt/sash but looked it up, its an identical to the others, so must be a purposeful eye sore. Look, my GF hated me when she saw me open his up, I was afraid to tell her how much it was. But she actually said I was kinda cute for enjoying it so much, especially trying out all the poses for my computer desk. I am a huge Ninja Turtle fan, always favoring the first movies character designs. So in that regard, this is hands down the difinitive TMNT action figure. The thing is heavy and can stand on its own, no stand needed. Not super posable but yes, looks cool with legs bent as if dangling down sitting on the edge of a bookshelf or something like that. I was gonna give it only four out of five stars but every time I look at it I get all nostalgic and smile. Detail is great minus the belt/sash.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He has lots of collectables from side show and hot toys. If your familiar with those brands they are very costly!!! my husbands words when he opened this "this is amazing!" he now is looking to add more NECA collectables to his collection. The detail is amazing on this figure. the joints move so you can pose him and he comes with different items and hands. diffidently a high quality item, at a reasonable price.

Got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loved it! It's incredible quality and looks so real!

Bummed. This one was supposed to have the cracked canister but came with the un cracked. Now I have two un cracked canisters. Side from that very nice figure
