I got that juice!
Great connectors, easy to read, takes forever to charge (honestly for 10farad that’s good, it means it is what it is). The directions look confusing at first, but once you start it’s really easy.I secured the yellow wire with the ground on the inside negative connection, and only ran the yellow wire to the inside positive connection. I ran jumper cables from my battery to where I mounted the cap and clamped onto the card leads there (simplest, most direct solution). My positive 1/0 from the battery was beside the cap laying on the carpet (make sure you do not let it touch the frame! Tape it up or hang it, just make sure you don’t short your battery). The voltage meter on the unit will periodically turn on and off when the display button is pushed, it’s not a constant on and it didn’t die either (some people said it stopped working... I don’t think they understand the product), this is good especially if you don’t turn it off and leave your vehicle. I’m glad my battery and alternator won’t be stressing to fulfill the needs of my power hungry 2000w amp. I’m using it as the ground for my amp too, and so far so good! Definitely helps to clean the signal and buffers out any hum from other vehicle components. Eventually I’ll get a dedicated amp for my mid and high signals, but the stock speakers match my subs well, so once they burn out then I’ll get to it- with peace of mind and an easy job ahead.PSA: Caps are voltage stiffeners/conditioners. They do not increase the Amp Hours of your vehicles electrical system. They allow your amp to get the power it needs when it needs it- without shorting cells in your battery as it struggles to meet the demand RATE (regardless of amount drawn). That’s how it helps with voltage sag (ie dimming head lights). Please do your homework when working with such powerful current, if you feel uncomfortable get a pro or study more (do you know your Ohm’s Laws? How many joules are in a farad? Why do you need a resistor to charge? How many amps can X-guage handle safely over the distance you plan to run your wire?)

Charging
it didn't come with a sticker warning people to discharge the system before they undue the negative battery terminal. I charged up the cap when i first got it. it was nerve racking and i waited and waited and stared at that light on that little computer chip forever. wasnt sure if i was doing it right, but its working correctly to my knowledge. had it for year or so. i dont discharge it anymore when i need to unplug negative battery terminal i just leave headlights on high for a while with car off hoping that will do something. After you unplug your negative battery terminal, you'll notice the cap may still have the voltmeter display on, like there is still power in there. So I would just like more clear manuals on this and an easier way to go about it all. Other than that it looks cool and its great to use as a distribution block i think, though it costs too much, is definitely over-kill for me at this point, it looks wayy better than the other caps that don't do much at all.

Buy it!
I purchased this because i was having problems with my headlights flickering. I have infinity component speakers installed in my car with a 900watt 4channel kennwood amp and a 2000watt mono sub amp with one infinity kappa 12inch sub. I made the mistake of trying to save money my buying DB Okour 10farad cap which was $76 and i was still having pebbles wuthering my lights flickering so i purchased the rockford fosgate 10farad cap. This did improve my bass levels, everything seems much louder and the notes are crisper. This did reduce the flickering lights significantly but it is still apparent even after i went with a Optima Yellow top battery. I ended up switching my headlight bulbs to LEDs and the flickering dissapeared. This is a fantastic product and is worth every penny.

Real powercap, real 10 Farad.
Had a Soundstream 10 farad Powercap. Quality was poor, paint was coming off realy quickly. Eventually chose the Rockford Fosgate. Its not cheap, but ist mucht better quality. Only couple of things dissapointing; 1. They used cheap plastic covers witch is not moulded perfectly. You can see moulding schratches and imperfections; 2. On the Soundstream you also could read out the amps. 3. The Soundstream also had two more ports positive and negative; 4. Soundstream had also four connections for remote in and out.

Awesome support
The seller was awesome, my volt meter quit working, I hit the reset button, still didn't work, they sent a new one out very quick, I unhooked mine for about 10 min, then hit the reset, started working again, so I sent the new one back, would definitely but from then again..

so far so good
Wow this capacitor really made my bass hit harder and all my highs really tweek and those review's that said this don't do anything for there sound system either you got a bad one or got it installed wrong. But my advice if you want to make this capacitor perform at peak and if you have a big system feed this capacitor a high powered alternator do the big 3 and add a battery and I had all tht done without the capacitor and i was beating hard but wen I added this capacitor o.m.g bass hits so much harder and highs are way louder

I definitely noticed a difference in my audio after installing ...
I definitely noticed a difference in my audio after installing this capacitor! It all sounds so much cleaner since my amps now have a more stable and constant power supply.I found it odd that RF decided to modify the included contents to _not_ include the warning stickers to install near the battery anymore. When I contacted RF, they replied saying they no longer make the stickers. I guess the sticker costs exceeded what they were willing to spend on any liability claims. ha
