Q: Are these machine washable? I want to apply them to a black raincoat.

These stickers can withstand a couple washes but they are not designed to be washed regularly. So we do not recommend putting them into a washing machine. We've done several performance tests on the stickers including a test to put the stickers onto a plastic sheet and sink it into water for days. Without the tumbler effect, like in the washing machine, they did just fine.

Q: Anyone tried on fabric?

An easy test is to find regular stickers or packaging tape and test them with the fabric you want to try. If regular stickers and packaging tape will stay on, these reflective stickers will stay on for sure. Make sure to press down well since that's what activates the glue on these reflective stickers. Hope this information helps : )

Q: Will these work on a wire mesh bike basket?

Yes, if you can put a normal sticker on it, these reflective stickers will work. Just make sure you press it and let it stick to the surface for a day.

Q: Do these reflect IR light also?

Yes they do reflect IR light as well. These reflectors are covered with very tiny glasses that works like micro mirrors to reflect light back. So if it can be reflected by your mirror, it will be reflected by these black reflectors.
