We purchased these as a Christmas gift for our grandson, who is very into chess and mythology. These pieces are lovely and very detailed. He not only uses them for chess, but also makes up adventure stories about them, and uses them in his “battles”. They are a little difficult to use by a traditional chess player as they are different characters rather than the traditional chess pieces, so a little more memory is required to play a traditional, chess game. However, he loved them!

The product arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. The item is much heavier than expected and also has hooks on the back to hang it from a wall , which is nice.
