CondorSidekick Pouch, MA64-002

5 minutes after opening the package and I already love it. Super useful as a small admin pouch on a plate carrier. The front pocket is nice and padded to protect the interior, making it good for holding a cell phone.Perfectly holds folded maps, pens, grease pencils, notebooks, spare batteries, spare mags, really anything that a tactical team member would need on the job.I will probably get a few more of these to use on the side of my plate carrier, as even when they're full, they still don't stick out too much, making movement fairly easy.I'll probably have one for some small medical supplies (tourniquet, emergency bandage, quick clot, etc.), and another for small tools (electrical tape, pliers, small screwdriver kit, wire strippers/cutters, etc.)The possibilities with this pouch are pretty much endless.My co-worker bought the same thing from tactical tailor, and paid about 3.5x what I paid.As usual, condor comes through with a great product that will last a long time. Stitching is top notch, it has plenty of elastic storage inside, and molle webbing on the sides, which could easily be used for a small flashlight, carabiner with flex cuffs, glow stick, etc.Heavy duty Velcro on the front for mounting morale patches, seems like it will last quite a while of use.The double zipper is very strong, and while it is not waterproof, it will definitely keep your stuff dry in the rain. The drain hole in the bottom is a nice touch for any water that builds up while you've got it open.I'm not going to be like many others and take stars away for stuff that I want that isn't included (I read the description thoroughly), but I will say that it would be nice to have a Velcro flap over the outside zipper so it doesn't clank around while running. I'd also like the outside pocket flap to be a bit sturdier so you can use it as a wiring surface for marking maps, etc. but it's nothing a small piece of sheet metal won't fix.TL/DR: A great piece of equipment that fills it's niche quite nicely, at a great price.

Good pouch, the build quality is typical of condor (well made for the price point) and has good features. I use this as a top organizer on my day pack (eberlestock gunrunner). The inside has plenty of elastic webbing to hold small items like Firestarter, pen light, chapstick, spoon, and such. The inside sash pocket is good for flat objects, I use it for my compass and map. There are two key chain loops on the inside above this pocket and the internal cord system for 90 degree hold open are a nice touch. The outside sash pocket is also good for permits, small notepad or trail maps. Overall i like this pouch and it offered a option for a little more organization and storage for my pack.

This pouch is great. Its the perfect dimensions and super high quality. It matches all of my needs. I even like how the zipper is toward one side instead of in the middle like most of the bags giving me a nice deep pocket for any loose extras I wanna throw in.The only problem is the back of the bag needs one more row of loops/strap at the bottom. The attachment straps can slide on and off which gives them an extra degree of versatility (like you can add a 3rd back strap to make it more secure to match your pack if need be.) But this means they aren't sewn in causing the bag to slide downward causing the whole thing to hang an inch lower then where it is attached. If it had one more strap-loop-row on the back that would remove the remaining slack and make it hang properly even in-spite of the sliding.I was able to get past and ignore this since I stack another tear away molly bag above this one, thus hiding its weird look when all the tear aways are present. But I had to knock a star off it for this one flaw.I can attach a picture if its REALLY requested. Also if this company is ever willing to address this issue I would HAPPILY buy another bag (not even exchange this one but a full on purchase. I might even by more than one for my other molle's) If any of the manufacturers read this let me know if that is a possibility.
