One of the best professional composite information reference books
This is one of the best professional composite information reference books I have ever seen. It's full pictorial and particular, very clear and comprehensive, I will commend this book to my friends.Provided that it was translated into Chinese, I believe it can gain much more readers.

Excellent tutorial for composite construction
This is a lightweight manual, but it really helped me with a few practical tips I was missing. I have incorporated some of the ideas into my work. It also taught me about the different resin chemistry properties, which was mostly new info to me.

very informative
I enjoyed reading the topics in this book. The lessons built on his previous books in a way that explains not only techniques, but structural and design considerations needed for a successful project. If I have one criticism, the pictures included in the kindle version seem out of focus. In several instances it is clear we are seeing a computer screen with callouts, but the image is not readable. We must rely on the text to explain what we should be seeing.Thank you for sharing your experience.

Great book, many new insights to the composite process.
Excellent buying experience. It is the second copy I've bought, the first in soft bound that I loaned to a college solar vehicle team, the second a Kindle version.

Great photos and step-by-step instructions
Another very good book by Wanberg. Very clear photos and explanations. For the layman who wants to do some cool projects.

very handy resource
Have the full series. In this book john goes into some of the techniques not found on youtube. He covers things like making a trunk lid out of carbon (the kind of projects that spring to mind when you think about carbon fiber) he also covers mold repair and CAD design of composite parts. If you are a familiar with the basics, then this will be a good starring point to move to advanced status.

Good books for getting started
These books start out fairly basic and build from there. There are a lot of pictures and the text is very descriptive. I have done some of the basic methods, and feel more confident that I could do the more advanced techniques having read these books. That being said, all tree books come up to a fairly hefty price tag, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
