Excellent sound for a USB mic without DSP or software. Beat my blue mic by a very large margin. I own the king bee 2 and worker bee 2 and all the neat mic have a unique sound very warm including this one. Great buy for the price

USB mics used to be seen as an inferior audio product. This one is shockingly good. This is also an example of the old phrase, punching above its weight. I know that these products from neat were developed for a much higher price point. The microphone segment is so crowded and so competitive that you can always find heavily discounted gems out there, and this is definitely one of them. Especially if I'm on the road and I need to do an audition for a client, I'm completely satisfied with the sound quality. In a pinch, in the right space, you could get away with doing pro work on this thing. Just buy one, or two..

I like this mic for the sound quality. I do not like the switch which rotates between recording level and two other things. I would prefer a single, exclusive switch for the recording level. Secondly it has no marks. You really don't know what level you are recording at, unless you test it first. And it seems like the recording level can change when you unplug this mic from your computer, and then plug it in again. This is a hassle. But it sounds quite good.UPDATE: I changed this from four stars to five. The tone is so great I ordered a second mic for another use. It is a small price to pay to check audio levels before recording (since there are no gain markings), considering you get such a great quality of audio that you do not even need to EQ it. And I cannot say this about hardly any other mic I have previously used, save the Rode NT1 (4th gen). How you can get this great a tone with this cheap a price is beyond me.

As a voice actor, having great microphones is essential. Normally you go with XLR mics because you have more control over the quality and such, but when you're in a pinch, sometimes you just gotta grab a USB mic, and this is where the Bumblebee II works perfectly!The audio quality on this microphone is outstanding for it's price. The entire pick-up is very balanced and neutral, making for recordings that do not sound artificial or overly boosted in any frequency range. The low self-noise also puts it above most USB mics.The only flaw I've seen with this mic is the inability to use it on my PS4 or PS5. Im unsure if this mic works with Xbox, as I don't have one, but if it worked with my PS5, I would be over the moon! So unfortunately, I will probably have to cough up like $25-30 for one of the cheap FiFine mics to use in that case.If you're looking for a versatile mic that can work on just about every situation, and deliver professional level results, the Bumblebee II is absolutely a mic worth looking into.Update (Feb. 13, 2023): After noticing some people stating their mic works on PS5, I decided to contact Neat and ask them myself last week. The rep confirmed to me that the mic was supposed to be compatible with my console. He stated my unit was defective, immediately asked for my mic's serial number as well as my address, and without a question, shipped a replacement which arrived today. Sure enough, this unit does work on my PS5. I went from being extremely happy with my mic to being over the moon. Thank you so much, Neat!

This condenser mic has amazing clarity and "range". I use it for vocals in a room full of people and the directionality is really great. My old mic picked up all the room noise, but this mic amplified voice in a broad range of positions without the room noise. I hooked the mic to my computer and played my acoustic guitar in front of it and the rich tones and harmonics picked up with the Bumblebee II was the KIND! At the price I paid for it (70% off) was an wonderful purchase. Go get it!

As many of the reviews state, this mic is incredible. The sound is crisp, I can hear my real-time feedback, my friends can hear me clearly, and it's easy enough to set up. The only issue I have with it is, as another review stated, the power port has stopped working. I purchased this in March of this year. It is now November. The product description mentions a 2 year warranty, but finding how to claim this warranty is impossible. I've messaged the seller and left a question on the product. Hopefully if I make enough noise, someone from customer service will get back to me, because I can't find how to contact them. Low rating until I can get my warranty initiated, because honestly this mic is great other than the power port issue.

It sounds very natural and handles high and low noise levels and notes.

Perfect if you video chat a lot. Good clear audio and the mute button is a great touch.
