This arrived earlier than I anticipated. Putting it together took some time but wasn't too difficult. The manual is super simple but sometimes that's not a good thing. It comes in two packages: 1. Desk 2. Chair. The wood doesn't feel cheap so I'm happy with my purchase. The upper shelving does not attach to the top of the desk. So, you can move it anywhere or completely off the table. It's heavy enough to not move around a lot especially when you add items into it.I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and it looked ideal. I found out that it was a bit too big for her. But just a bit. :) She'll grow into it this year. She's average size for her age.The only thing that I feel I was left out on was the rubber pads for the legs of the chair and desk. The images show it and the manual does too. Sadly, I'll have to pick some up.
