Organic Essence Shea Butter for Hands and Body, 4 Ounce

This product is great but it is also very misleading.First and foremost, the jar is very tiny and to make matters worse, the bottom of the jar is about an inch or so thick of just cardboard and not the actual shea butter - extremely disappointing for the already tiny jar.The product is kind of annoying to dish out as you have to use the wooden scrapper provided in order to scrape out the shea butter. As directed, you hold and rub it within your palms and then rub it onto your skin where desired. This takes longer than the typical body butter or lotion products out there, but the results on your skin can't compare to other products... SUPER SOFT SKIN! There isn't much of a scent to the shea butter so it's great if you're scent sensitive!Final Verdict: While I enjoyed the results of this product a lot, the size of jar and the time & effort to apply made repurchasing this product a low priority. After applying this product daily all over my body, the jar didn't even last me seven days.

If you want USDA certified organic then this meets the needs. Odorless, white color, and softens readily with body heat temperature. Very hard density, so mixing well with other oils takes much physical effort and time, especially if you don't want to use heat. I find that the price with shipping is too high for the quantity purchased. I purchased another certified brand for larger quantity and overall better final total price, but the product when received was grainy. I'm still on the search for another brand like this, but with a softer, creamy density like Mode la Vie (labeled organic, but not certified or available on Amazon) and reasonable pricing. I sent an email to the seller regarding how the product is refined and whether or not it is ultra-refined and did not receive a reply.

I've only tried a sample of this once, but my mother swears that it's the only thing that helps her extremely dry skin in the winter. The local co-op stopped selling it so I ordered it online as a Christmas present for my mother- she was really excited to get it!

This Shea butter leaves my skin really soft. The only thing is that I have to break it in to pieces I wish it was more buttery but still a great product . smell is a bit interesting but not too bad. It does what it needs to do. I hope it fades my stretchmarks soon.

Great product! Don't need more than one layer to moisturize. Very effective! I also love the (whipped version) coconut vanilla scented!

This is my favorite shea butter! I have extremely sensitive skin, and this is so soothing.

Since I've been using this stuff, I almost never need to use my eczema cream. I love the fact that it is free of chemicals and other irritants.
