Furniture Cover Plastic Bag for Moving Protection and Long Term Storage (Chair)

This cover is amazing, got mine a little large to completely cover an outdoor chair. It withstood a winter in Ohio.

We covered 2 loveseats & 3 large armchairs with this product prior to moving them & were delighted! The covers slip over the furniture like a giant baggie & are easy to secure with shipping tape. We navigated the furniture items around several tight, tricky corners & through narrow doorways with no problems-the covers are well-constructed of heavy-duty polyethene & very durable & stayed in place & intact through a bunch of transferring from building to truck to storage. We left them on the furniture items for protection during storage. Really, really helpful, quality item that takes at least some of the challenge out of moving! Would definitely purchase again!

So the idea was to try to shrink down a giant beanbag AKA a Lovesac. The challenge is this cover is pretty unwieldy but I was trying to do it myself. It seemed fairly thick and I was able to get it around the item but on the end, I couldn’t get enough air out to make it work. When I tried to take off the copious amount of tape I used to seal it, it ripped. If you are just using this to store furniture and prevent dust and dirt, you should be fine.

When I moved, I purchased this to cover my recliner. I didn't use it during the move as I was able to use an enclosed trailer to move my furniture, but it's worked great so far to protect by recliner, which is in storage. I've been using it for 5 months and haven't had any issues with it. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to protect and cover their recliner, whether it be when moving or storing it.

These are great furniture covers! A lot bigger than I was anticipating & a decent material - I was expecting it to be thin & tear easily but I don’t think that’ll be an issue.

I'm not sure I'm really understanding these. It's basically a giant bag that slips on from the top, but in order to really be effective for moving purposes you have to somehow seal the bottom closed, which means turning your furniture on its back, grabbing the front and the back edges of the plastic, pull them together for a tight fit and then tape them together. I can't see any other way of utilizing this for moving without doing that because the moment the movers try picking it up while it's all sloppy on the floor it's just going to come up or slip while they're trying to get it into the truck. The edges can't just lie there on the floor. This thing basically needs to enclose the entire piece of furniture otherwise and sealed with tape so that it doesn't wind up blowing off in the wind or slipping off while they're trying to carry it. Anyway, I guess that's what I have to do, since there are no instructions anywhere online or that came with any of these bags. So long as the front edge in the back Edge reach each other on the bottom when the couch is on its back, and can be taped, then it should work, so I guess I'll have to see.

I was skeptical about purchasing this cover after reading some reviews but I decided to just take a chance and I'm happy I did. This cover was made of thick plastic and large enough for each portion of my 3 piece sectional (I purchased 3). My items were stored for 3.5 weeks in a shipping container that was not in a climate controlled environment and was perfectly fine when delivered. My sectional was not sweaty or damp from humidity or anything which was a concern. My main concern was that my items remain clean and not exposed to anything. This did just that. The plastic is very thick and sturdy so it won't tear unless punctured and I taped it closed with packing tape. It is a great value for the money and I will definitely purchase again!
