Got tired of an air mattress, even though this does have a bar in the middle. This is the way to go get you up off the ground and you don’t freeze in the winter if you don’t have a heater in the tent with you. Very comfortable we got an inflatable 2 or 3 inch air mattress off of Amazon to go with it the kind that are made out of the fabric material and a very lightweight. We laid that down on top of the cot and put a blanket on top of that and it felt very comfortable. It is very functional and takes less time to get up and get your bedding on it then an air mattress does and is very easy to set up. However, the only drawback I see about this is the price I feel like this is a $70-$80 car not over $100 all in all though it’s been a great caught so far if anything changes, I will update my review we camp a lot so if anything happens it’s gonna happen with us lol

Holds up well with our air mattress on top. Between my husband and I, about 350 lbs. I wish the feet had felt instead of plastic bottoms for the floor in our tent and house. The only complaint I have is that it is rather hard to open by myself or anyone else alone. A locking hinge on the legs might help.

Bought this for the convenience. I would recommend using it with a memory foam mattress. You will feel the center support no matter what, but it's not designed for you to lounge on it in the center. It seems to be a good quality build. It also has electric straps on it to help keep a mattress centered on it. It's fairly easy to setup alone. Make sure to follow the instructions that are fixed to the inside of the storage bag. It sits higher than I expected.

We found very few double cots on the market, let alone any that would accommodate my husband's height so we were thrilled to find this cot! Sadly, there is a giant bar that runs the middle length of the cot so it's kind of pointless for a couple that likes to snuggle. On the plus side, the cot is very high off of the ground so sitting on it, relaxing and underneath storage are all great. Also it is very easy to put up & take down, which I appreciate!

After reading reviews, we went with this one, as the bar in the center wasn't a concern. We use an RV bunk mattress that folds. We also have thin single air mattresses that connect together. With all of that, it was a good sleep. We really loved that the cot is elevated enough to stash our bags under it, keeping the tent more organized. We have a 9x14 foot tent, and with this cot, still have space for a small folding table and 2 chairs, with space to move around.
