Easy to install and the quality is great for the price. The directions on the manual are easy to follow and it is sturdy too. Fits well on our 2018 Acadia GMC. We have been looking for something like this to use on our camping trips and it sure does hold our cargo on top firmly. Will definitely recommend this to our families and friends

We received the unit with a plastic part cracked. Looked like it had a rough transport with USPS. I contacted the seller (John) who responded immediately, and took care of us by sending out a replacement. Really outstanding customer service with good communications.The unit itself is no Thule or Yakama, but the cost was very appealing and looks like it will serve us fine. I have it mounted on a 2021 Honda Passport with some Kayak J hook racks. Just got it put on and will try it out tomorrow.

I purchased these for a trip from CA to GA with a Thule cargo box. As with any cargo box it was pretty packed, so we had to be creative on closing it. The bars clearly bent in the middle and are no longer straight. By the time I reached the Grand Canyon, the box had rattled these bars so much they were loose and my Thule box was sliding to the passenger side of the car. I pushed on the bars and they moved, so I got out the little Allen wrench and I tightened them…every few hundred miles. I didn’t even lock the bars after Texas because it was necessary to tighten the bolts over and over as they rattled loose and they key entry for the “safety lock” sticks pretty bad. The safety lock is a piece of orange plastic that swoops down over the hole where the Allen key goes. Big deal! If someone wanted my cargo box on the trip they could easily have smacked that plastic piece with a screwdriver and a hammer and been gone with it. Not to mention the bolts quickly began to rust.These are good for a one time use kinda thing, but I took them off due to whistling and rusting.

It will do the job but personally had some issues. The clamps that are supposed to secure the rack to the rails has one side that has a reasonable bite around the rails but the inside clamp is flat and offers no support in securing the rack. The class of rubber used in the bites is poor and the interior clamps sliced into and through the rubber on the first try. This all is not helped by the difficulty in installation as there is no extended rod for adjusting positions and tension in the clamps.my order did not come with a hex key which was included in the last of parts that came in the box. First time we used the rack with our kayak J cradles the entire thing fell apart on our way back from the lake which, lucky, I mahanged to catch before smashing into the cars behind me. We have lashed it to the car with paracord and it works fine but the quality and design are weak and less than convenient.

Very simple to install on my car. Works well weather is well. My roof rack attaches simply to it for camping.

Installed this cross bar on my 07 Acura MDX. It was quick & easy. Best bang for your buck cross bars. The only issue I have with it, is that it makes a whistling noise when I’m driving. Other than that, it’s fantastic. Held up my extra large cargo bag very well when I went camping in the White Mountains.

I cant complain, easy install and feels solid. It does add a lot of whistling noise. I will probably tape bottom slot, maybe it will help. 2016 Forester
