I was quite skeptical to try this, as most things are hit or miss. I wanted to wait a week before writing a review so that I could see how it went with this supplement. Let me tell you, I am floored! First let me tell you that I had not had a drink in 5 days before I started taking this. I have always had problems with alcohol dependency. I am 40 years old. When I drink, I sometimes drink for days. I have taken antabuse before, and it works okay, but I wanted something that would help me not want to drink. And something to help with cravings when I did want to. Not something that made me feel like I was a kid in a corner being punished for being naughty. This is it!I'm not one who usually comes back and writes reviews, but in this case I absolutely had to! From day one, this leveled me out. The first day I took one dropper, which is about half a dropper full under the tongue in the morning. About 15 minutes later, I felt a bit of a flushing sensation, sort of like if I had just taken a niacin. This went away within about 15 more minutes. After that I noticed I wasn't as groggy, I was a bit more clear-headed, and my mood seemed to stabilize. If you drink you know how it feels in the days after a long period of drinking. You are groggy, anxious, sometimes depressed, Etc. This alleviated that! I kid you not!! I have never found ANYTHING like this. I wish I would have known about this years ago! My husband was super skeptical for the first couple days, and wanted me to take medication instead of this.(as my drinking has caused major issues in our marriage) But I told him to let me give it a try. After a few days, even he noticed a difference. I have not once had a craving to drink, no, I'm not kidding*And this is coming from someone who would slam a beer when I was anxious or stressed out or angry or bored. We have a son on the Spectrum, a teenager, and a daughter who just graduated college. With all of that, and the covid-19 going on, it's been stressful for everyone. It's just too easy to grab a drink. Well guess what!? I no longer feel like I need to, or even want to. I see a lot of people on here saying there is no magic pill to quit drinking. But what you have to understand, is that this is not a magic pill. It's plant science. If you look up all the ingredients that are in this, you will find why it works! Dandelion root, Kudzu root, milk thistle, a multiple of vitamin B's. Most people who have an alcohol dependency problem are deficient in vitamin B's. And when you do not have the correct amount of vitamin B in your system, you feel like you're missing something, (which can cause depression & aniexty) therefore when you drink it makes you feel better. Taking this supplement instead with all of the different ingredients that it has works like a perfect cocktail to fill the void that would normally be a drink.I've had a drinking problem since I'd say my twenties. I am now 40. When I would go off on a binge, it would be for a week to a week and a half or so. Then I would come out of it and not drink for a couple weeks, rinse and repeat. If you're looking for something to stop the Vicious Cycle, TRY THIS! But don't just try it, look up the ingredients and do your research on why it will work. Because if you do, you will see that plant science is a real thing, and it can work for you too! I can only say I'm a little disappointed that more people aren't aware of this. It took me awhile doing a search on the internet to even find this, and I almost didn't read any of the reviews. Thank God I did! I feel like the old me again. The happy me. The one who wants to go out and enjoy things and do things, and doesn't just think about a drink. The taste to me is like black licorice& honey. It doesn't taste like candy or anything, but just remember that it's a natural vitamin tonic, & it's not so bad.If you or anyone you know needs some help with your drinking, please please please do yourself a favor, & Give this a try! I must confess, I bought this product some time ago and was disappointed in it, so it was quite awhile till I decided to purchase it again and give it another try. My hopes and expectations the first time I bought it were: I hoped it would enable me to simply quit drinking. I read the various reviews and how, while some people used it as an auxiliary aid to using will power or other methods, some people were able to quit almost miraculously with little effort. I hoped to be one of those lucky ones who achieved miraculous results, and when that didn't happen for me, I gave up on it. It is, after all, rather expensive for what it is.However, in the meantime, I've decided to use it in a different way. Sobrenix does NOT take away my desire to drink. For that, I have had to do a lot of deep soul-searching, as well as reading Allen Carr's book, "Easy Way to Control Alcohol." I highly recommend that book because it gets you in the right mindset of knowing that alcohol is not doing for you what you think it is. That book mentally prepared me to quit. However, I was still feeling a sense of agitation, edginess, physical discomfort, and anxiety close to the time I would normally start drinking each day. Those physical feelings were making it hard to resist drinking, even though in my mind, I no longer wanted to.That's where I found Sobrenix helped me. In and of itself it was not powerful enough to take away my desire to drink. It wasn't that simple. But it does take the edge off the physical withdrawal symptoms for me. I am less frantic, less desperate for a drink. It helps me "over the hump" each evening. My normal drinking hours were from when I'd start preparing dinner-- around 5:30 or 6:00-- till whenever I ran out of alcohol! I cook dinner every night, so being in my kitchen was a strong association with drinking. Taking Sobrenix a little while before this would help me through those difficult hours. Usually somewhere around 8:00, I'd realize: I made it! By then, the urge for alcohol has mostly passed. So that's how I'm using it.As I say, it's expensive. It's just some glycerine, herbs, and vitamins, and frankly, I do feel a bit like the manufacturers are overpricing this and taking advantage of desperate people. You go through a bottle VERY quickly-- in just a few days. They do offer a money-back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. But that doesn't help the person who DOES want to continue using it, but can't afford it at this inflated price. I think this product is worth about $10 a bottle. I'm a certified Master Herbalist and I know what's in here--there's nothing exotic or costly in this bottle. It should not be priced higher than a simple herbal supplement. One could even prepare something similar at home, but for me, the stress of trying to give up drinking, along with other stresses in my life, makes the thought of preparing an herbal glycerite a bit daunting, so I'm faced with paying this exorbitant price for the convenience of a ready-made product.Note to manufacturer: I honestly think that if you lowered the price, people would give it a longer try. I also find that I do better if I double the dose, but I can't afford to do that because I'd run through a bottle in a couple of days. If you lowered the price I think you'd make up for it through repeat purchases, and maybe get more good reviews from people who were able to take enough of it, long enough, to achieve better results.

I think this is an awesome product! It's worked better for me than the various prescription medications I've tried, in terms of cravings. It also seems like it makes me feel overall better (yay B vitamins!) I'm not opposed to using medications when necessary, but I prefer to use a natural product whenever possible. I'm so pleased that this is natural AND WORKS! It is a bit expensive, but I'd pay just about anything to stay sober, so it's totally worth it. The customer support is awesome, and every delivery has come with a sweet little note wishing me well. I just mix it into my coffee in the morning, and maybe a couple other beverages throughout the day. It does have a bit of an earthy flavor (not bad), so I prefer to mix it with coffee, juice, etc. Overall, I'm thrilled that I found this, and haven't looked back since I started taking it!
