I purchased this back in January and initially it worked great. Offered more versatility than the GA-FC since you can switch between different effects on a given bank in addition to just turning them on and off. Additionally, it's a cheaper option and more space efficient.About a month ago, however, it stopped working. The pedal came on but would not control my Katana. It never left my house and was always in a climate controlled environment. I contacted customer service via email and after trouble shooting we came to the conclusion that the USB-C port on the pedal was broken. The rep asked for my original order number and address and within a few days I received a brand new pedal.Now, this process took a couple weeks to complete. I'm on the east coast of the US and, wherever their customer support is, they were replying to me between midnight and 2 am my time. This meant every step of the process required a day to complete. Every question asked, every "try this now." This isn't a knock on Xsonic, just an FYI to anyone who might run into an issue. Be patient and work with them and they'll take care of you.

The media could not be loaded. Game changer! If you have a Boss katana 50 MK11 this is the pedal you want! It makes life so much easier specially for IOS users who have to use katana librarian this unlocks so much and makes it hands free it also means you do not need a Widi uhost anymore as this acts as your host for Bluetooth between the phone and the amp performance is flawless it’s fast reaction time very simple to set up and all that just absolutely 5 stars all the way around makes everything easier and better!

It’s a great product generally, and I won’t bother to re-list all of the features here. I will say that build quality is excellent. And a Boss Katana 50 Mk Ii amp it’s a complete game changer if you’re playing live (which I frequently do). Unlocks so many more features of the amp and effectively gives you more than the standard four channels. That’s because it lets you cycle through extra/different preset variables/ sounds under the each of the boost, mod and FX settings on each of the four channels. For example, on Channel 1, you can start out with a clean (or no) boost setting and then toggle through up to three of the numerous other boost settings on the amp.

I just bought this footswitch last week for my MK1 Katana 100. Seemed like a well made item and even worked with the amp well. But the problem lies in the fact that this switch relies on a Bluetooth connection to the Boss Tone Studio app for Katana Air on your phone or tablet for you to do your tone editing. Well, the fine folks at Boss just happened to release a software update last week that renders this footswitch incapable of making the connection to the app and working as it should. Since I don’t want to have a brand new defective footswitch I’m sending this back.

This thing is great! Being able to edit my patches and swap stuff out with my phone is just incredible 🥰

Be patient and go online. Great tool for Katana.

The unit is well made, the battery life is amazing so all you need in performances is the connection to your Katana. The stomp switches for the presets/effects have a slight hesitation after stomping on them unlike traditional stomp boxes which are immediate. This is not ideal when moving back and forth from a song section, or lead. Hopefully, you get a feel for the engagement of the channel that works for you.My personal disappointment is in the 'Panel' stomp switch (far right) which gets you back to the Panel setting, or switches to Effects mode depending on how you engage the switch (click or press/hold a bit). Too often I find myself engaging the Effects mode when I want the Panel channel. This screws with my performance which is why I'm giving the 4 star review.
