I've had this little aquarium for a month now. When it arrived the pump didn't work. I contacted the seller and in a few days I received not just the filter pump, but a whole new aquarium set. Within a few days the filter pump started sounding like Darth Vader and I figured it was going to die and I would just have to spring for a different pump. I changed the filter even though it had only been a few days, and miraculously it went back to running so quietly I could barely hear it! I added some aquarium pebbles, a cave and a little tree thing. My betta seems to enjoy being able to swim more than a few inches without bumping his nose. So everything works, fish is happy and I'm happy.

The media could not be loaded. Easy set up. We went from 1 gal to 3gal. Love the light system switches colors has a timer. Pump seems good. No issues. Good size for my 6 yr olds room. Had it a week no issues. fish love it! Bought all the interior stuff minus the submarine for $10 on Amazon. I added the bubble machine bcz I had one.3/20/24 update we love the tank fish are doing well. The light under the hood stopped working so that was disappointing. I see water condensation under the plastic cover not sure if that’s the issue. However I called support the lady asked a few questions and said she’s sending me a new light strip. So that’s good hopefully this one lasts longer. But Koehler service is great!Update 5/23/24 now the new light stopped working only after 2 months. I’m going to call again but it looks light this is defect in this fish tank.

Well I went to set up my daughters tank we got her for Christmas and the filter does not work. I mean doesn't even work a little, completely no go. The link to the website doesn't work that we are provided and their call center for help is closed. The tank looks cool, I went and got a different (better quality) filter from the pet store and saw a similar tank that is glass for only a few dollars more than this one. Next time I will probably just go to the pet store first. (If you get a different filter the tank works magically, it has been set up for two weeks now and our Beta just loves the space), the new filter doesn't fit in the space where the other one goes, and the lid won't fit exactly due to this, but with the better filter, it is awesome. (but it gets one star because I shouldn't have to by a new filter from the get go.) Check out a pet store first, just a fair warning.

I have had mine now for over a year and works great. However, the filter just stopped working and I can’t find a replacement that fits this tank. I’m going to be upgrading to a larger tank anyway. I did find the filter made loud noises at times, but adjusting the water level seemed to help. You have to take the filter apart into like 6 pieces to really clean it, but it was not hard to put back together. Would not have been so bad if there was a replacement filter system for this specific tank.

Filter works great, love the light settings. The fishes love it. I added the bottom filter just to the poop. Cleaning fish tanks is a pain. Very easy to put together. Despite some negative reviews, I would recommend it and value of the price.

Before I bought this I read the reviews saying the filter didn't work but I also read ones that said it was great. Took a chance and bought it. Filter doesn't work. When I first got it set up I had to find the sweet spot for the water level, too low and it wouldn't work and same if it was too high. Now almost two months later for one second out of every 30 or so, water will come out of the filter and that's it. No matter how much or little water I have in it. If you pour water into the filter to help prime it, it will work fine for a minute and turn off. At first I liked that the filer had its own spot in the wall of the tank, there's no bulky filter in the middle of a wall it's all flat. But now trying to find a new filter to fit that area is a pain. I have a mystery snail who likes to escape so finding a filter that fits and doesn't leave a gap is important. Other then the filter I like the tank, nice size and the lights are nice. But you'll need a new filter.

Great aquarium for our betta, have had it for over a year. The filter motor works great and nice size for some exercise and exploration for the fish.

My first one I ordered did come cracked but they replaced it and was a fast replacement. I have had no issues with this tank at all. Very pretty and just what I wanted. Filter works great, seems very roomy for my betta and snail. I would definitely order this again. Great value for money.
