After I purchased the missing pieces of the assembly, the product worked fine. The package was missing screws , a pull chain and wire nuts as connectors.

Looks great, super easy to install and very lightweight. I installed mine on an indoor fan but it is compatible for outdoor/wet environments also. Great price!

I have a Hunter ceiling fan and the light was broken a year ago. I tried to find a replacement at the local home improvement store, but nothing I bought worked. I stumbled on this light and gave it a try. Easy to install, the light is bright and it's low profile and attractive. Much cheaper than the misses I tried from the home improvement store.

Installation on Hunter Original (cast iron) fan was quick and easy, 15 min task. Lamp fixture is low profile, lower than most, so helpful to maintain walkable clearance. We swapped out the included LED bulbs for lower lumen bulbs as a personal preference. This conveniently uses standard LED bulbs for any regular lamp.

As the others have stated, this can be VERY frustrating to install! Seemed to be designed by the Chinese to intentionally infuriate American installers. You will invent new curse words getting the last of the four screws in that hold the plastic base. To get the base wired to the fan, I used a shoelace or string to tie the fixture to the fan so I could connect up the wires. Otherwise, you best be an octopus to hold it!Now the good. This will indeed fit the Hunter Original Fans. This will take two 100 watt standard LED bulbs (standard base).Definitely use LED long life bulbs - you do NOT want to have to take this thing apart to change the bulbs!

Likable item. Lightweight of plastic. Will not oxidize under low sun area.Easy to take care of

I have purchased these exact same lights, years ago and in white, for a different set of fans that I have installed on the patio of a condo in Acapulco. 10 years later everything works fine and the only issue has been the translucent plastic has yellowed slightly from constant exposure to the sun. But you would think that the hot and humid weather would have taken its toll on the electronics of the fan or the lights...but both work perfectly. You cannot say that about many products these days. I am super happy with these lights and fans.
