Great RACK!
Great Rack!!! Upon opening this I examined the welds and how straight it looked, and man this thing is really good compared to other ones I’ve seen on people’s bikes! Appearance is spot on and the performance of this is spot on. Bolts right up without any problems and aligns perfect, atleast mine did!

You will scratch plastic.
It was a bear to install, slipped it in over the seat from the top. Now every time I need engine coolant top ups or a new air filter, the seat has to come off. The right side screw was a gruesome affair. Looks good now though.

Perfect fit and easy install 2021 KLX300
Perfect fit and easy install on a KLX300. Just the right size, big enough to tie stuff or a decent size soft bag down but not some big ugly adventure rack. Seems like good quality and is ninety bucks cheaper than the largely unavailable OEM rack from Kawasaki.I didn't realize that I had to ask for the kit to remount the tool pouch when I ordered so I just had to get two 1/4 20 stainless bolts (my hardware store didn't have the 6MM bolts in the length needed) just a bit longer than what came with the rack along with some fender washers and nylon lock nuts. I used the bolts to replace the through rack bolts that came with the rack and these went in the rear two holes of the bag. For the front two holes in the bag I just drilled two extra holes through the bag just aft of the existing holes and used zip ties to mount the front of the bag to the rack.

Great fit and looks good!
Took my time doing the installation. Loosened the side cover bolts so I could shift things around in order to hand tighten everything then snugged it all up. I didn’t see where I could ask for the hardware to reuse the toolkit until after I’d ordered, but was able to zip tie it back near the end of the rack. I think it looks better back there anyway. 😁

Awesome
I got one of these for my KLX230 S a while back. It was so easy to install and the fit and finish was perfect… so, it was a no brainer to get one for my KLS300SM!No surprise, it’s awesome and was even easier to install and I love them! I’ve seen different options on Amazon and elsewhere… I don’t think anything would even come close to the quality of this rack!!Very versatile too! It makes it super easy to secure a tailbag or about anything else!Just get one! You won’t regret it!!

Don't buy this one
Extremely frustrating. 2 of the main bolts are too big and cheap. 1 of the bolts broke off in my brand new kawasaki klx300. Now I'm going to have to drill it out and find a replacement. For $100 this is very disappointing.

Good way to waste money. Trade bikes.
I ordered this and received it yesterday. Installed it on 2013 KLX250S. First things I noticed is instructions suck. Not that it complicated to install but generic. The link to video on You Tube for installation shows an earlier model of this bike which is different. Two sets of spacers. One plastic, one set aluminum. I used the alum ones for rear most bolts. Not sure what to do with plastic spacers I put them in the rack hole that bolts to side -foward section of rack where the small bolt goes in about half inch hole.. Not sure why they packed two different size allen head bolts to install. They are same thread. This means you need to pack two different allen head wrenches in your tool pouch that you no longer have a place to bolt to get them off. The side covers will be a bitch to get off if you need to get to battery now. May have to remove rack. Yea, you can bolt your tool pouch to rack if they send stuff to do it but what good in the rack with tool kit on top of it? Yea, spend 58.00 more dollars on a flat piece aluminum called expansion plate ( Yes it's called marketing) You buy this and you need another farkle, then another. Now that I've spent over 100.00 on this rack. No problem if your Donald Trump or someone else with money to burn. I'm thinking a milk crate will be a perfect expansion plate. I could go to grocery store and put groceries in my Burgman. Guess milk crate will have to do on this bike. I just hope I dont need to get to battery any time soon and not have the extra allen wrenches.
