Great Product!
I used the saw blade for cutting rocks. I've cut many types of Thunder Eggs, Agates, Jaspers, Quartz...you name it I've probably cut it. I have tried NUMEROUS brands and types of blades in the past 2 years and BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST for the money! I don't know what other people were cutting that gave this blade a bad rating...or perhaps it could be a quality control issue by the manufacturer... but I returned other more expensive blades and ordered more of this blade and hope the ones arriving today are as wonderful as this first one!

Decent price, not for large rocks
4.5 out of 5Could be a little cheaper probably but the profit vs cost/precision of this blade is worth it.I use this blade to cut small .5-1 inch quartz geode agates.I am able to cut about 100 before the blade becomes too dull to work with safely. The blade does not say it is rated to use for quartz and for those who don't know.Quartz is very hard.If this blade can stand the test of cutting these geode agates without smashing them open.I would say the description for this item is accurate. This blade is for TRIMMING and fine shaping softer smaller minerals. It will not last forever, it is thin and the blades diamond layer is only about 3mm.A small Dremel blade would be cheaper and has more diamond cutting space if you are looking for a cheap alternative. If this blade seems like it is worth the money for a specific project, trust me, it is great for small pieces. If it works for quarts when it is not graded for it, it will work for trimming smaller softer material for a while if you are patient and using the right tools.TLDRThis blade is great if you can read the description, are cutting the right material, have the right tools, knowledge and patience to utilize the blade.

Don’t waste your money
I bought this to put on my tile saw, so I could cut some turquoise rough into slabs. It did okay for the first couple cuts, but even going slow and letting the blade do the work, it only worked for a few cuts until the blade bent and is now worthless. Should have just saved my money for a lapidary saw/decent blade.

Wow, very stable for such a thin blade!
After rejecting more than on lapidary saw and more than one tile saw, I got this blade to go with an $85 Skil wet tile saw. I am working with (overly expensive?) opal simulants, and thus needed accurate 2mm slices from relatively sizeable pieces of rough. The Skil has a very effective "fence" to guide the rough (better than the vices on most lapidary saws!), and this super-thin blade remained rigid and consumed minimal material. I realize most tile cutters may not need to be so miserly with their materials, but in any case this is a thin, rigid, and stable blade and is a great value if such features are important to you.

Good product.
Good straight cutting wheel. Only thing is the blade life is shorter than I thought it would be.
