Windproof Teflon Coated Travel Umbrella - Auto Open/Close - Travel Stylish Lightweight Design for Women/Men

This umbrella is legit. I broke mine after a few years and it was my fault - I didnt even get mad I just immediately hoped this same model was still on the market and it was. Its really solid but not heavy and the button that expands AND contracts it is a smiple but super effective add-on. Do yourself a favor.

I waited a while before writing a review so that I could test it. I've had it for two years now. I work in an area in the Financial District where there is such a strong wind tunnel all the time that most of my umbrellas break right away. One of the spokes did finally snap, after all this time (or maybe just unhinged?). But, the umbrella is still totally usable. And, if I had the time, or the motivation, I could probably figure out how to fix it or tuck it. But, instead, I will probably just buy a replacement. It has been a great umbrella and has gotten a lot of use.7/22/19 - Just adding to my previous review. I just got caught in the worst wind and deluge of rain tonight. the umbrella did twist another spoke, but I was able to hold it over my head throughout the worst wind and pouring rain for 1 1/2 blocks. Believe me, it was bad. And, you know what? I thought it was over for this umbrella. But, no. It's still alive. It is a little twisted, due to a spoke nearly being torn out. But, it's still totally serviceable (unless perhaps there is a tornado next in these parts of the financial center). I believe I'm going to make the effort to tie down the torn out spoke. And...I'm buying more of this umbrella. I actually love it. Some other reviewer indicated that a small girl would not be able to close this umbrella. Yes, it is a little tricky closing it. But, I'm a very small woman. And, all I do is close it with my hands and then press the end against my hip. And, click. It's closed. No big deal. So, the answer is, yes...a small woman CAN close it, indeed.

We purchased 4 of these umbrellas for children (- ranging from late elementary to college age) 2 years ago. Children are great tester on the limit of umbrellas! They really put the umbrellas to the test. The only complaint we heard was the umbrellas are hard to make compact. Opening and closing the umbrellas is just a push of a button - super easy. We wish they came in different colors so that we could easily tell whose umbrella is whose. Our solution is silver sharpies on the fabric of the umbrella to make nice personalized designs. I am going to by four more now because the previous umbrellas seemed to have found new homes. Definitely worth the investment!

This is a very nice umbrella, in a lovely dark gray color. My only concern is that when open, the umbrella is loose on the stem. I would have preferred that it did not wiggle, but that may be something in the design that makes it inevitable. May not mean it's going to break, just part of the manufacturing. It's still a nice and very professional looking umbrella.

I have lost or given these away, but never broke one or wore it out. They open every time. The water shedding fabric works. I buy them every year because my family steals them. Fine stuff.

Bought it in 2016 and it’s still working great. Never have had a problem with it and definitely have gotten my moneys worth and then some.

the material used for the handle, gets, like most of the umbrellas very sticky and its impossible to clean out. You have to find a way to shave some material to get ride of that.Umbrella otherwise is fine.I recommend finding umbrellas with wooden handle
