Perfect Replacement For The Surefire Mossberg Forend Light
The incandescent lamp module in my older Surefire Mossberg forend light was pathetic . Yellow dim light, and the original 6p lamp modules are notorious for breaking easily. This LED replacement dropped right in with no modifications necessary, and the immediate difference was amazing. Bright white light and far more durable I'm sure. I will be buying more for my older Surefire lights. This is a no brainer for the cost.

Plug & Play, and brighter than stock!
This thing is amazing! A bit brighter than the stock battery in my Ultrafire WF-502B, the solder job on the exposed circuitboard where the positive terminal is (the coil inside) is also a better job than the stock version, which is very lightly soldered, which also acts as the 'support' for the circuit board to stay in place. I drop this thing on concrete pretty regularly, I work in a warehouse and the company doesn't believe in paying for silly things, like replacement fluorescent bulbs for our overhead lighting so I can see what i'm doing... But this thing lights up a dark trailer like it's day time, and I can count my inventory in confidence, knowing I'm getting an accurate count. I will be buying a few more of these to keep as spares. Dont wonder if this is worth it, because it's better.

Easy Drop In For Surefire 9P!
I dug up my old Surefire 9P that uses three CR123A batteries and had a P90 incandescent lamp with a 105 lumen output. It still works, but pales in comparison to modern LED flashlights. There are some high-end drop-in LED lamps available for the 9P, but they are very expensive and not worth it considering the low price of a high performance LED light. I figured it's not risky to try out this lamp for my 9P due to the price. It fits perfectly in the 9P after removing the large spring. The light is a nice cool white and not super blue like some cheap lights. I'd estimate it to be around 5000K. The original P90 lamp was probably more like 2000K. There is a good beam in the center with some spill (original lamp is just a beam). No idea what battery life or lamp life is, but for the price I am very satisfied to get more life out of my 9P.

Nice hotspot
While I am certain that there is a universe, somewhere, a different dimension of time and space where this is indeed 1,200 lumens, this ain't it. This unit does give a really nice, tight hotspot with a modest amount of side spill though. The hotspot is evenly illuminated, perfectly round, and without any apparent tint. Compared to a known 1,000 lm source this is a little dimmer, probably around 700-800 lm, which is about what I expected, given the price. This replaces a different LED unit on my Surefire 6P, one that I purchased elsewhere about a decade ago. That one was advertised as 800 lm and measured with a light meter as 400, so this is still a good improvement over that for me and well worth the cost. Compared to the original, expensive, low-power incandescent bulb this light was fitted with this unit simply blows it away and is worth every penny.

Surefit for Surefires 6P and G2Z Combats
Have purchased enough of these P60-style LED modules over the years, and these Bestsun Cree XM-L2s are prolly the best so far. Formerly these replacement LED modules required some fiddling, turning the reflector in/out of LED body to achieve a solid fit. Other than removing large spring, this module fits my Surefire 6Ps and G2Z Nitrolon Combat lights (circa 2007) no fiddling, no problems. Color temp is fairly neutral, and the XM-L2 is bright, with generous spillover from its polished reflector. The photo depicts a couple older LED modules failing due to age, and an OEM P60 module for comparison, with new batteries in all four lights. Can't speak to the advertised 1200 lumens, but the module is bright, and compared to other lights I have, estimate lumen output between 600-1000 lm. Also, cannot speak to run-time efficiency, as am switching to 16650s from CR123s. Because these modules are a surefit for my Surefires, ordered modules for the other three lights. UPDATE: So, these Bestsun XM-L2 mods are power hogs with CR123s. Am achieving runtimes only slightly better than OEM P60 Xenon lamps. They are bright, but not the 1200 lm as advertised. With a single 16650 (3.7V) there is a decrement in luminosity compared to series 123s (6V), to about an estimated 600 lm, however, runtimes with 16650s are vastly improved. Where P60 Xenon runtimes could be measured in minutes, this Cree/16650 2000mAh combo lasted all weekend. Could not imagine this kind of performance when I bought these Surefires 15 years ago.

Not a direct replacement
Absolutely not a direct fit for the p60. If I could have given it 0 stars I would have. Can't even put the top to the flashlight down far enough for it to on. Don't buy

Works
I am using this in a flashlight that is not a surefire and it works perfectly. It's bright although I can't actually measure lumens, but it's at least as good as the old lamp.

Awesome drop in upgrade for my Surefire flashlights
I have 3 older SureFire flashlights which use older 4 Watt Halogen/Xenon type bulbs. I purchased these drop in replacements for my P60 style systems. Not only are the new LEDs producing super bright white light (as opposed to dim yellow) but they also only use 1 Watt of power (as opposed to 4 Watts for old style lights). The difference is dramatic (see photo) Installation is super easy. Deepening on the style of your flashlight, you may need to remove silver aluminum ring from your flashlight. You my also need to remove large spring from the new replacement light. In any case, super easy to do. Don't buy new LED flashlight, save money and buy new LED upgrade for your SureFire flashlight.
