A good resource
I used this book for an independent study class in my electrical engineering program. I was building a vibration detection device and used this to get some background on the theory to be included in the final paper. It is well-written and concise. It is not likely a book that someone is just going to pull off a shelf and read for pleasure and you need to have the math and science background needed to get into an engineering program to really understand it. But, if you need something that lays out the concepts without having to do a bunch of searches online, this is a good resource.

Very useful and highly recommended
I love it and find the author a bit funny with great experience in Vibration. Some info about transducers and data processing/ analysis are kind of old but it has the same fundamentals of newer stuff

Good book and information
I think this book is filled with good information and is a good resource for anyone wanting to learn more about Vibration Analysis and Spectrum Analysis. Glad I have now for a reference among a few others.

Among the better rotating equipment vib books
Good section on DSP. Good appendices... especially the one by Bob Wall on motor vibration.
