I bought this product to use to call back home in the US as advertised. However when I got to Europe I was unable to call back. I was left in a situation where all my documentation was stolen and left with no means of communication except for email. Trying to contact Lyca to rectify the issue with the chip came to no avail as they then claimed that the chip was only for use within but not to the US. In essence they left me high and dry in a foreign country for a short period of time until other forms of communication were eventually obtained elsewhere.If you want to get a SIM chip to communicate back home when abroad I would suggest going elsewhere.

Yo terminé la activación a las 4:30 pm y alas 6:00 pm se activó mi línea, tengo señal donde voy ,no he tenido ningún tipo de problema.

This sim card worked well when i travelled to the US. It was easy to activate and activation only took a couple of hours. Service with talk and data worked great. The only issue was the limited plans that were offered from LYCA. The minimum that could have been purchased was a 30 day plan.

I was able to activate the sim. After activating, Lyca mobile text me my new assigned number. But when I tried to use the service, it stated that it had been suspended, and that I did not have sufficient fund to make a call. (The sim I bought supposed to have $30 preloaded, with unlimited text and data). I tried to call the company, the lady said that I have to do it online, or go to a store and have them do it. The online way was not that easy, so I went to a store. The store guy that said that I only had bought the sim, without any preloaded money. I ended up paying extra $30 plus $3 service fee.
