Takes some finessing, but end result is exactly what I was hoping for! Best Value!
Note: I am using this product as a finish on top of my canvas paintings, not as a pouring medium.Ok look, this stuff is awesome but for people that aren't used to dealing with products like this, it takes a few tries to get it right. Rating it one star because you can't figure out how to use it properly is like buying professional artists paint and saying the paint is faulty because your painting didn't come out like Picasso's.Anyway... I have yet to try as a pouring medium, only as a finish on top of my paintings, but the end result is awesome (for the price)! The problem most people have is it thickens up too quickly in order to get an even spread on the painting. I have found that if you add 10% water to the mixture it allows for a slightly slower thickening time and gives you the chance to get a nice even coat. Also, add a tape or some other kind of barrier around the edge to avoid losing too much as you spread it around. The water does thin the product out a little but if you're doing more than one coat, this is the way to go.Another technique is to place the bottle in warm water before use to loosen the product. Allows for a slightly slower thickening time.Dry in a cool, dry place with a cover so no dust particles get in it. It does NOT dry well in humid environments.Resin will still give you the best result but for amateurs like myself, this is the best, most affordable way to give your paintings that beautiful high gloss finish =]

Easy & Efficient - highly recommend
I bought this as I was tired of using the polycrylic or polyurethene to seal my artwork. The reason I didn't like those is that even though they claim to dry clear - they changed the color of white to a cream....that's a big NO!This dries clear, gives a nice sheen and doesn't change the color of my painting but enhances the color! The whites stay their true color - super easy to use as it comes in a bottle. I have used it on canvas and painted wood - goes on smooth. I use a sponge to spread the medium on top of my paintings- very interested in trying to pour and move the canvas around so no brush marks show up!

Final coat over a pour painting
Used as a top coat over a pour painted wooden round. Full strength with a foam brush. Can also be diluted 2 parts product to 1 part water and tilted. Tape on edges with top of tape above surface of painting to keep gloss from running off. Drying surface must be level.Pros:Easy to apply. Minimal odor; not unpleasant. Dried overnight to a hard, glossy finish. One coat fine.Water clean up.Cons:No application instructions on bottle. Had to cruise YouTube.

Good product. As a varnish excellent resin like finish ...
Good product. As a varnish excellent resin like finish without using resin. Learned the hard way it does NOT mix with Floetrol ( Crazes and actually pulls the paint off the canvas as it dries.) Used alone as a pouring medium revels nice results. It is a little on the thick side however so water is needed which diminishes the glossy finish a little. My conclusion is that it is a beautiful vanish. I will likely not use it as a pouting medium. The results when mixed with water are similar to ordinary Floetrol and it much more expensive.

GREAT FOR PEOPLE TO SEAL PAINTING , THAT CAN'T BREATH THE EPOXY
love this product, for my paintings. Gives a great shine. Will always use this instead of epoxy to seal because i can't breath the fumes. GREAT PRODUCT, BUT A LITTLE PRICEY. ALSO would buy from this seller , they are fast at delivery, just amazing

It works great and fast with limited bubble
Covered acrylic mixed media painting. Build a damn around the canvas or item using paint tape ... it provides the damn to reduce product waste and easier measuring. Instructions are limited, even online, but I saw this on youtube with Smart Art Materials. Super easy to use ... you pour it, not brush or otherwise.

White chunks
After using it a few times it did its job. Not much gloss. I was expecting more shine. After the bottle was sitting for a week without use, it because chunky and with white lump upon pouring to my art. So a big piece of art was ruined. Prob not gonna buy again.

Excellent for Fluid Painting
Similar to the Liquitex pouring medium, but better I would say. Paints take on a 3D quality with this medium, and colors stay vibrant and binded. Subtle sheen to certain paints, but I would imagine the more you use the more sheen you’ll get from your paints and the final result. Pleased with this medium; would definitely order again.
