The Carbona Color Remover really works! I accidentally threw a dark indigo pair of blue jeans in with light colored clothes. The dark dye stained everything! Instructions say dissolve powder in small bucket (I used 2 gallon small bucket) of very hot water. Once dissolved, add garment fully submerged & soak 3 mins & check after every 3 mins til stain gone. I soaked each garment individually as needed. I got busy & forgot I was soaking a salmon pair of shorts & now they're peach lol! That was my fault tho bc they were left soaking 30 mins. 🙄Anyway my tip: Don't multitask while soaking & check garment every 3 mins. Will definitely buy again bc rest of clothes came out perfectly! 👍🏻😉

I used this on two things, a pair of pajamas and a t-shirt that had both gone through a wash with a red shirt. Both had red marks on them. The shirt still has the red marks; the pajamas got ruined. Sure, the red came out of the pajamas, but the once light blue pajamas are now white, and the collar which was navy is now brown. Not what I expected, since I tested them both first like the box suggested, but didn't see anything happen in the test. They are still useable, but I'm not happy.

It did what it said it would do. I had 2 shirts that were pinkish and both were different fabric and different dye sets for their patterns. One pulled all the pink out and the blue anchors on a white backdrop were restored. The other was a floral that luckily had pinks and reds so the fact that the dye couldn't be removed wasn't a total loss. The other reviews that said it didn't work, it might not. It really depends on your fabric and the dye. If the item has print that isn't color fast this will strip it all. You have to decide if you can live with the tinted item, chance that you will save or completely ruin it. For $7 it was worth it for me. I went in expecting both items to be a total loss, that might have helped.

It didn’t work. Color faded from the whole shift but stain remained very prominent. Very disappointing

It does work for some things, not for others. I had several items that were, I believe, wrecked when a red non-colorfast item ended up in the light wash. These included a pair of white athletic socks, a hand towel, a pair of tan nylon socks, a cotton t shirt, and a white wool/rayon knitted sweater. It depends on whether the items have dye themselves.After soaking for a solid 24 hours (couldn't agitate the entire time, obviously), TOTALLY IMMERSED, the athletic socks and white sweater came out totally perfect! The tan socks were a loss. This product did seem to leech the dye out of the socks. The T shirt survived though a sleeve was not thoroughly immersed and remained stained. The hand towel was aquamarine and white also lost its dye and was a loss.So if you have something that is not colorful or a blend of color and white, this should work! It does take time and it does smell, like home permanent wave solution

I was skeptical, but gave it a try before throwing this shirt away. Had another screen print shirt stick together during drying and left this stain. I did the hand wash method as I only bought one pack. You will need to buy 2-3 if you plan to use in washing machine and I didn’t realize that before purchasing. This product worked like a charm and will buy again in the future!

Unfortunately didn’t work for me. Followed instructions and just didn’t take out any color transfer.
