OM SYSTEM OLYMPUS PT-058 Underwater Housing for the TG-5

Very easy to use - one open/close toggle with a security lock.Sturdy - slipped off a rock on my way to a dive site and housing survived without damage.Something to note - burp valve on housing is still on the small side and requires several attempts to fully displace air trapped between the housing lens and wet lens.

Could not find one in the City Of Houston. This was a fair price. Took into the rough Hawaiian waters of the Pacific Ocean and it performed perfectly. Order the extra silica packs for the housing to keep the moisture from condensation under control. The safety loop is lightweight. I wish it were a little more substantial for your expensive equipment.

This underwater camera housing is great. Did 11 dives in 3 days down to 60 feet and not a single drop of water inside. Only thing I don’t like is how the lens cover floats in the way while underwater. I will be putting a piece of Velcro on cap and body to hold in place for next dive.

Really impressed with this housing. I bought my first underwater camera and needed this housing for scuba diving and was really impressed. The directions are very thorough, it comes with accessories and most important of all, it doesn't leak. I took this down to 80 ft and not a single drop of water got it. The picture quality was good and all of the buttons on the housing actually come in contact with the buttons on the camera.

Other than being a bit pricey, although not when compared to other housings for this camera, it works great with my TG-5 and also will work with the newer TG-6 Olympus Tough. FYI, you can attach a dome port or ultra wide-angle lens to the camera. These custom accessories are available from Backscatter.com

Easy to use and gives you full functionality with all the camera features. We took it down to 110 feet and had no problems at all!

The housing fits the camera snugly. Controls appear to mesh properly with camera buttons and controls. Have not tested it in water yet, but housing seems to be a very tight lock, durable housing.

Amazing camera casing. Fits perfectly with my camera and made of high quality material. Had done many dives with it and camera remains dry, no leek at all.A little bit expensive but worth it.

Después de mucho analizarlo me decidí en comprar este housing por que era (junto con la cámara TG-5) el que mejores características tenía a un precio relativamente accesible.El housing se siente bastante sólido y te permite accesar a todas las características de la cámara, esta promocionado para poder bajar hasta 45 metros pero yo solo lo probé hasta 20 y no tuve ningún problema, gracias a las bolsas de silica que incluye no se empaña lo cual ayuda a sacar mejores fotos.Un punto en contra es que la correa que tiene esta pensada para tener la cámara todo el tiempo amarrada a la muñeca lo cual puede ser un problema en caso de necesitar las 2 manos debajo del agua, consideren seriamente en comprar una correa que se pueda enganchar al BCD.

After flooding my first TG-5 within certified depths (WITHOUT this housing), it was time to get a housing. Being a diver, i love taking photos and videos underwater and not having to worry about submersing my expensive camera in the watery depths. Never had moisture issues with this housing (use supplied silicon moisture packets), and always inspect and lightly lube seals prior to using. Cycle buttons under fresh water after an ocean dive. You'll never have a problem with it. Get a tray with the camera, or build your own.

Just back from a 12 day dive trip in Indonesia. Through 35 dives, no issues at all. Definitely recommend this unit and will be buying another to set up for my wife.

This housing works very well the the camera. Light weight and easy to handle while diving.
