Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Mattifying Prep Gel 1 oz

I bought this mattifying prep gel because I suffer from a very oily forehead and wanted a long lasting way to banish the shininess. This prep gel feels nice to apply and the scent is pleasant, however I found that when I applied it after my serum and moisturiser (as advised by a sales person at bM) then applied my foundation/BB cream it would roll off my face causing little bits to appear all over my face that I'd need to attempt to remove without messing up my foundation!Has anyone else found this?? I've stopped using it now it's finished and I'm in search of a new primer that doesn't do this.In terms of shininess it did help but didn't last all day.

This really is an oil-absorbing makeup primer to help to keep shine in check. It is a sheer, water-based gel with helpful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients that sets to a super light matte finish on the skin, working well under matte makeup. It probably works best on more combination skins than very oily. Very oily skins may find that it only manages to control shine for a few hours, but it's still worth considering.
