Hawaiian Chicken winner Dinner
Easy and quick to make with simple ingredients in your pantry. Just add diced peppers, pineapple and rice to it. Tastes similar to a sweet and sour chicken dish. I added a bit of hot sauce to my portion to put it over the top. Plus low sodium a plus for my diet

Simple and easy
I used the recipe on the back of the Riega Hawaiian Chicken Skillet Seasoning, and it was simple to prepare and took little time to cook. I added cabbage and scallions to mine to give it a bit of an Asian vibe and it was delicious! The herbs and spices used to make up the seasoning are sourced in the US and are gluten free, kosher, vegan and free of chemicals and preservatives.*Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to sample the Riega Hawaiian Chicken Skillet Seasoning ~ I highly recommend it!*Above are my personal observations and opinions. Waste of Chicken... Packet Isn't Worth Much...
This turned out pretty bad. The instructions have you mix the seasoning in with pineapple juice, water, vinegar, soy and oil - then it has you cook chicken separately, then veggies (I used onions instead of bell peppers, because bell peppers are gross) and pineapple chunks - then you combine everything. The sauce is all vinegar and pineapple. The seasoning mix does nothing. The first two ingredients are sugar and corn starch, so I guess it's supposed to sweeten it and then thicken it, but it's sour, and very thin. It didn't thicken up at all, and I did whisk it in the sauce for the entire 3 minutes of boiling, and leading up to boiling. The 5 minutes of simmering also didn't thicken it. I don't taste anything beyond the acid in the sauce.I see no reason to buy this product... the recipe will work without the packet - better even if you just wing it with plenty of spices and actually thicken the sauce.Ordered June 2023Best by August 2024Made in the USA
