Great for adding weight to surf-fishing lures
I recently bought this bearing kit to see how effective they would be in adding weight to some of my surf casting lures. The multi-size assortment allowed me to select the best size bearings for the lures I was modifying. I drilled a hole big enough for the size bearing I was using, then added bearings until I achieved the target weight. Then I plugged the hole with some close-cell foam and locked everything in place with a few drops of epoxy. Works like a charm.

Good replacement
Prefect replacement for stock. plus extra sizes just in case for future use. we'll see if they rust over time but I don't think it will be an issue. overall good quantity and quality for the price.

A must for model paints!
These are perfect for Vallejo dropper type paint pots, and they are also ideal for Citadel style pots. This is the second time I have purchased these, but the first time from Amazon. No issues after years of use, and they are perfect for our model paints. TIP please remember to wash them before you drop any into your paints. It might be overkill, but I do it just to be safe.

Perfect to place in your paint jars to help stir/mix pigment inside jar or bottle.

These bearings work well
The bearings seem to be perfectly fine. I have used two sizes, in my bicycle wheel bearings, and the free wheel. Each size is contained in a plastic bag within the segmented plastic box.

Don't put in fluids
I thought I'd try these and see if they successfully work as a cheaper alternative to the (expensive) metal balls sold as an ice substitute.Didn't work out; at all.I froze them... then put them in a glass of rootbeer.Immediately... noticed an off taste.Which grew worse as I sipped...until I threw the rest out.So... maybe good for other uses...but not that one. :-(
