Classic Shaving Stick
Great for the price. I put mine in an old round tin and use it from there. For under £2 this is great. I get a lemon kind of scent, very soft.

Great shaving stick , good price
Never tried this before and was very sceptical of it's ability for a close shave . however after using it for a week i can honestly say i'm impressed . It gives a good shave , and looks like it's going to last a while.

Good value, basic shave soap.
Bought to be part of a travel shaving kit. The soap is a traditional barber soap, applied directly to the face and brushed up to a lather directly on the skin - without the hassle of having to take a large shaving bowl away. The scent of the soap is best described as like a traditional hand soap. The scent is pleasant enough but other, more expensive products are far better scents (and the reason Im only giving 4 stars). It would be perfectly usable as an everyday shaving soap.It produces a good lather which allows the razor to glide very smoothly across the skin. Be aware that it is a Tallow based product so it is not suitable for vegans.

Lovely on the skin, and a fabulous close shave.
I must have bought Arko several times and forgot because here I am buying some more, and on repeat subscribe and save, however it appears currently at review you can only buy x1 for the current price £1.49 or on S&S £1.27 which is what I have currently then you can chose how often you would like the stick sent to your home address.Arko reminds me of the sticks my Grandpa and Dad used for a wet shave, looks oldy woldy and a bit 70s in which my husband likes.Very well packaged and no leaks, there is a distinctive scent, however my husband cannot say what it is, but likes it.So there is a choice of one stick costing £1.49 normally….£4.99 but on offer at review….However what is currently a good buy 12 sticks for £8.94, which individually sets you back a fantastic 74P each approx. We live in the middle of the country where the water is very hard, can cause havoc with dry skin. My husband was fed up with normal routine shaving gels, the prices are getting ridiculous, so looked on Amazon and read the reviews. As I mentioned at the top of my review, we have indeed purchased the Arko before, so I knew it was ok for my husbands sensitive skin.Last night and every other night my husband shaves, we bought a new brush also. The stick does lather up really well, so that every part of the face is evenly covered without gaps. Beautifully soft on the face, and gives a glorious shave with a proper razor + blades which I bought on Amazon.Being a hard water area I was surprised how the stick did froth up, wasn’t thin cream, but not too thick, just right for a good, clean cut shave. The skin afterwards was very soft and smelt divine.Brightens the skin upItem weight 75gsIn todays climate and constant price rises, this stick at the current offer price is excellent, you want a good close shave then Arko definitely delivers that… I shall continue with subscribe and save for this stick, unless the price goes up ridiculously..But currently my husband recommends.Just remember it is cheaper overall to but 12 as opposed to one at review.I haven’t given stars for ‘ flavour’ as obviously no one eats the stick, so I assume it means ‘scent’, in which case, that would be 5* also.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

The classic barbers choice....
Smells like a traditional barber hot shave - that's because most barbers that offer hot shaves use arko! It does a good job however it does dry out very soon and I found I have to apply more on.....have heard good reviews about tabac soap? Will be trying soon.....however arko is purchased cheaper like £2 then I would recommend this purely for being cost effective and does the job.

Cheap, cheerful and does the job
Really cheap and easy to use. I wash my face, run the soap round and then work into a lather with a shaving brush. I soak the brush for a few minutes before working up a lather. You get a good lather with little effort. Old school smell, which is fine with me.

Lasts for ages - best way to use it in review
I bought this for £2.99 delivered back in March. It now seems to be an add on item. I bought it along with all the other kit after getting into DE shaving as I was sick of paying absurd prices for a bit of metal and plastic with Gilette Fusion blades.Best move I have ever made with shaving and I do not suffer from ANY razor burn or spots round my neck that always happend with disposable cartridge shaving.I am not a shaving fetishist and do not get a semi about different razor handles, creams, pre shave treatments, pure bristle brushes etc. I got into this way of shaving as I don't like wasting money so I bought all the cheapest bits I could that came in at under £20.I am very happy with the cheapest items I have bought and feel no need to upgrade. This shaving stick is great. Bought in March it has hardly gone down & I am sure it will last me to the end of the year at least.*** Tips - For some reason I joined Badger & Blade - one of the DE shaving fetishist forums the other week and came across this, Arko shaving stick. I learnt that I was doing it all wrong so am sharing my tips.I WAS wetting the shaving stick & brush and rubbing brush on the stick & creating a lather. This is WRONG.What you have to do is ensure you have at least some growth - if you run your hand up your face and can feel it that's enough. Wet your face and the shaving stick. Then rub the stick over your face - against the grain. You probably won't see a lot and will think it isn't enough. It is!Then get your wetted brush and start working it over your soaped face in circlular strokes and you will be amazed at the thick lather it creates. Once you are covered "lay it off" in smooth strokes and then you are all set for the best shave of your life!Hope this helps. Cheers
