Wonderful trousers 8-)
This was the second pair of these I bought, having got the sizing wrong the first time. I am usually a 36" waist and I have short legs. Therefore I ordered the 36" waist, 30" inside leg to make sure I had enough length to go over my boots. Unfortunately I couldn't get them on with the lining in place and the waist was way too tight. They fit my friend perfectly, so he bought them from me and I ordered this a 38" waist pair instead.Size and Fitting:I use my bike trousers with just underwear underneath and fit very well this time. They are comfy rather than tight. The leg length is about right at 30". Although I usually buy a 29" leg, I thought the extra length would help get them over my boots easier, which it does. With the lining in, they are very cosy and warm.Weather & Waterproofness:They do not let any wind through and today the waterproofing was tested for the first time. The weather was horrible, heavy rain with added high winds, but nothing got in. I arrived still cosy and dry at work after riding on motorways, 'A' roads and slow local roads. Overall I am very impressed. These should be excellent for winter riding.Padding & Durability:The material looks adequately tough and hopefully abrasion resistant. They certainly feel like they should last well and feel better finished than my out going Frank Thomas's which are now 10 years old and just starting to fail. They have CE approved kneepads, which feel a bit sharp round the edges with the lining out, but are well positioned and stay where they should. There are also hip pads on either side, again CE approved. There is a short zip at the back to attach to a jacket. Unfortunately, this appears to be slightly different to the ones on all my other gear as it won't stay done up. However, I do intend to buy a matching jacket soon. I would have also liked a full length zip as my Frank Thomas's had. Overall I feel confident that the trousers will offer good protection if the worse were to happen. Conclusion:I am very please that I chose the Texpeed trousers as they are very well made, give good protection, are waterproof, warm, comfy and extremely good value for money. I can only hope that their jackets are just as good.

Fantastic value for money
I rarely leave reviews but felt these trousers deserve some credit. As a bit of background I’ve ridden for a number of years and have been lucky enough to own many sports bikes, adventure bikes and classic bikes. I own a two piece Daniese leather suit and an Alpine Star leather jacket. I’ve just started commuting again on a new bike due to the price of fuel and wanted something cheap and comfortable for commuting, so I ordered these trousers in a size 34 with the longest leg I could go for. They are well made and easily on a par with some of the RST clothing I’ve owned previously, if not better. Wore them for the first time today on my commute to work and was surprised at how comfortable and warm they are. They easily fit over my boots but zip up securely and are easy to remove. Coming home from work it poured down but despite this my legs stayed warm and dry. I didn’t expect much from these trousers due to the price but they are fantastic, great quality, well made, warm, waterproof and fit very well. For £59 you absolutely cannot go wrong and if you were looking to buy an equivalent pair of RST trousers you would be looking at around £150. At the moment I’m happy with my leather jacket (despite my top half getting soaked today) but when the summer months are over and the colder weather starts to arrive I will seriously consider a Texpeed jacket to match. 10/10, nothing bad to say about these.

Good product
I recently used the Texpeed Men's All Black Waterproof Armoured Motorcycle Trousers for the first time, and I have to say, for the price, they are really good quality. The trousers feel sturdy and provide the protection you'd expect from CE-rated armour (EN 1621-1) in the knees and hips. I also appreciate the removable thermal lining, as it helped keep me comfortable in cooler weather, though it did get a bit warm during my ride.Fortunately, you can easily remove the inner lining if you need more ventilation, which is great for warmer days. The waterproof feature worked well too, keeping me dry when I got caught in a bit of rain. The fit is decent, and the leg zips make them easy to take off, even with boots on. Overall, these trousers offer great value for money—perfect for someone like me looking for protection without spending too much.

Good pair of long legged trousers
I purchased the Texpeed trousers in a long length which suits my riding situation. They feel a good quality item and are windproof. They have not let any water in so far but only ridden in one shower to date. The test will come over winter with the wet and cold weather. I have the matching jacket and am well pleased to date.

Great and not just 'for in this price range'
Other reviews: When looking at the reviews before I purchased these i noticed some people saying that they were good for the price range they are in... not so! They are just very good overall.Price: I wasn't expecting excellent quality as I am a student and couldn't afford the more expensive types, however, I am very impressed with theseBuild quality: the material quality is very good and appears strong, I was caught in rain the first day I had them and they remained fully waterproof. The thermal insert was easily removed and I wear my jeans underneath quite comfortably without getting overheated, maintaining a good body temp - although that may change in summer (maybe go without the jeans in summer).Looks: considering this should not be the primary concern, the look of these is very good. They obviously still don't look as good as your day-to-day wardrobe but they fit well, being completely black they are quite understated, and the swishing noises are not as bad as with some others.Safety / pads: Thanks be to God, I have not fallen off yet so I couldn't comment on their level of safety but, the hip padding is understated and the knee pads are a little more visible in overall size but not negatively so, and they are both comfortable.Overall they are a very good purchase but they could still have been a little cheaper I think.
