Fab if you follow instructions
Fab activity for myself and my nine year old. She had fun collecting the leaves on our walk and then making er own ‘photos’.We took care to keep the paper out of the sun till we were ready.Once in the sun, the paper only took around 2 mins to turn very light blue then we quickly rinsed and they worked great. Broad leaves definitely worked best.We used a glass dish to hold ours down rather than the Perspex square they came with so we could do two at once.

Perfect crafty Christmas gift
This was a great affordable present for my youngest sister and we had a lot of fun experimenting with the sun prints. It’s a very unique activity that could be fun for kids but also adults, it has a very unique effect on paper that might be great for backgrounds and texture for artists

disappointing does not reproduce black and white negatives to any standard

paper too thin, prints not blue enough
I couldn't believe how thin the paper was. Also the prints came out very faded blue and lacked contrast. Normally cyanotype prints or sun prints are dark blue and much thicker paper is recommended.

Fuss free introduction to photography.
Used this for a teaching interview where the brief was to deliver a 25 minute photography lesson with no cameras or computers - this was perfect and the delivery came in time for the interview (much to my relief). The paper is quite small so you might want to combine a few sheets together, I found four worked well. Tested the paper in low light with my four year old daughter and got a good image with a five minute exposure, on the interview it was sunny so two minutes did the trick. Easy to wash off so a perfect way of introducing photography, or just having creative fun, with younger children without the complications and chemicals of other camera-less photography.

not very good
I tried flat or 3d, but the result is similar. faint and vague images is what you get. The timing is difficult to calculate "a short while" or "1-5 mins" depending on sunlight until the paper turns almost white. It will not turn anything, it stays the same blue throughout, even if you put it under a UV lamp. It's ok for children as there is little chemical on the paper but dont expect it to look dark blue like you see in the picture esp if it is a cloudy day.
