5 in 1 hair tool for Dyson Supersonic Dryer Curling Attachment Automatic suit, Accessories Multiple Styles

Ok. I have the original Dyson hairdryer.. purchased the very first few months of release at a major mall store. But I didn't have enough to get the coanda effect curling system. I bought a competitor set of attachments that have weak magnets so they keep falling off but I love useing them to style my hair. I saw the locking system on this one and splurged thinking I would save my frustration of the weak magnetic rods popping off everytime I move even slightly the wrong way.So .. 1.locking system great, but it takes effort to pop into place and lock. 2. Locking system diameter however is too narrow, and rods do not get enough air for coanda effect to be strong. I have to hand wrap hair pieces to get it started or have to put some product in hair to make it a bit sticky or it won't hold onto the barrel. Plus the barrel doesn't heat up as much so I have to curl twice.3. It is ok for doing root lifting and the brush barrel is good for blow drying but it is slower than using a separate brush, again, due to the locking rod not having enough diameter to allow power and heat to push through at the right ratio.So for too much money, it is now a secondary styling tool and I put up with the poor magnetics of the original ones I bought because they do a much better job.I think this product could be fantastic if the lock barrel cap were re-engineered to allow the right velocity of air to come out of the dryer. Until then... :-/ maybe it is good enough for baby fine hair? Mine is not heavy or thick, but maybe not baby fine enough???

This is an aftermarket attachment that will dry and curl your hair at the same time, at medium heat temps, reducing the amount of heat exposure and styling time by half. There is a learning curve to the Airwrap clones, and they provide two of them - one for each direction of wrapping so they have to be changed out on the dryer depending on which side of your head is getting styled. They attach using two magnetized adapters but changing them while styling can be kind of hard since, unlike the Dyson itself, the plastic becomes very hot and untouchable. There is also a brush attachment that works adequately as an all-in-one brush/blowdry tool, but to be a full 5-star rating, there needs to be a third adapter since there are three different attachments in total.Despite the quirks, I'm glad I bought this. I am not good at styling my own hair with a blow dryer in one hand and a brush in the other. Worth the $60 for 5 small attachments as opposed to $600 for a new Airwrap and another large hair implement to store in the bathroom. Not a perfect replacement, but it works very well once you get the hang of it, which took me three or four shampoos.

The curling attachments work amazing. The only downside with these is having to switch them for different directions and they get pretty hot. I was excited for the brush attachment and it just won’t stay attached. As soon as I start using it, it falls off. I have very curly hair and the other two attachments curled my hair perfectly! Wish the brush attachment would stay on.

They are ok. They do not stay attached very well.

My wife bought this item to use in the Dyson hair dryer, but the items did not fit the equipment, it did not work as expected, she ended up forgetting the return deadline

I had to watch videos on how to get it to connect correctly and operate it, but once i did, it was fabulous! Bought another for my mom . Love it

I had read reviews about this product not staying on the blow dryer and they were right... I couldn't get one of the pieces to stay pn and had a few people try to get it to sty connected - to no avail. Suggest the company put a link to tutorial for buyers.

I was using the crimper for the first time and the spring fell out and is now not usable. the other attachments are fine
