Long battery life

After the battery that came with the camera failed to charge in situ, in the camera, I bought the appropriate Charger (reviewed elsewhere) and bought extra batteries so that my wife had a ready charged battery to replace the one being used. This now works perfectly!

What can I say? Its a battery, it fits the camera and it recharges ok. Am glad I chose to buy the more expensive genuine Nikon, as the Duracell replacement for my other camera has to be forced into the camera

You can't go wrong with a Nikon rechargeable battery. Top class.

I bought this battery as it is the required replacement one for my Nikon camera. Good value for money. It has a good holding charge.

It only worked once; after first use, it never charged again.I read the reviews before purchasing the item. There were mixed reviews from poor to good. I ignored the reviews that such battery does not last long after few times of use; hoping it would never happen to me. I was wrong! I do not know if the battery I thought was genuine was just a replacement but there was nothing I read that indicated it was.

This is a Nikon spare battery for the P520 and it is clearly of the quality I have come to expect from Nikon products. You will have to pay a little more than other non Nikon branded replacements though. I personally prefer Nikon batteries but you will have to weigh up whether to pay the extra cost or settle for a cheaper replacement. From my experiences I'll stick with the Nikon battery. It does exactly what you would expect, it has only got 4 stars though because of the value for money aspect.
