I needed a good quality, space-saving elliptical for my little upstairs apartment. This fit the bill perfectly. It was ridiculously hard for me to get out of the box, let alone put together by myself as it is very heavy, and I'm a shrimpy little 68yr old girl who just had wrist surgery. But if I can do it, I'd say it would be easy for a normal person. Thought I was going to have a problem with the screen. Turned out to be an operator error (my bad). It's been 5 months, and I would make the same purchase again. I can work out in the middle of the night over my sleeping neighbor. He says he doesn't hear me. All is well.

So you get what you pay for. the stride length on this barely fits me and I am 5 foot 8. And I am size 11 shoe. And I mean barely fits. I dont think there is anyway this holds someone 350 pounds, unless they are waddling on to the machine.The machine does come 90% assembled, in fact it was so assembled I had to actually skip some of the instructions because someone preassembled it, they even had the screws sticking out for me to screw in.so the assembly was pretty quick because of the preassembly so that was good. The instructions need some work for sure.My unit came a little damaged, but that was the shipper, because the thing was packed very well. The thing is whisper quiet, no squeaking or anything. Its easy to use, its just a knob to make it more intense or easier. The stride length for me took a little getting used to, but I can still get a comfortable workout in. But I am definitely at the maximum height and stride length. The control unit I know is going to be terrible because its an inexpensive unit so I know that going in and I have no idea what any of that stuff means. But hey the unit was reasonably priced, its sturdy and it works.If you are on the shorter side and want an inexpensive machine that is sturdy and works then take a chance on this one.

It's a very sturdy machine and it's about 90% pre assembled. I'm a little lady who's not really handy so it took me a few hours to finish assembling it. This is a real heavy duty machine. Nothing about it is flimsy and it came with all the tools needed to finish assembling which is a plus. It's perfect for an apartment. A nice work horse that will give you a good work out. I'm so glad I got this. It's steady and quiet. I can work out with out anyone knowing. Great purchase!

The first few days was working great, than started to make very squeaky noise, it is very annoying to exercise with that noise!!!

This comes in a very compact box. It comes about 90% assembled, so the remaining assembly takes about an hour. It can be moved around very easily since there are wheels in the front cross leg. The rear cross leg has ends that twist to level the unit if your floors are uneven. There is a 1-star review on here that references the unit wobbling. That person obviously doesn't realize that with a simple twist of one end of the rear cross leg, the unit will be stable. Super quiet in use and super compact overall size makes this great for smaller rooms. High quality all around and a great price to boot!Ignore the bad reviews on here. They are clueless. This is a great product.

When I purchased this machine there were no reviews so I took a risk based on Merach’s reputation with other products. This was new on Amazon but a good deal so here it is… machine is NOT as easy to put together as videos and description would lead you to believe. It says 90% assembled, I would say 70%. It took about 2 1/2 hours and lots of patience but I did it by myself. The left foot pad screws (2 of the 3) would not tighten, no matter what I tried. It’s like the screw got fatter 1/4 of the way up, so my left foot pad wiggles. Other than that, everything went together fine. There is a lot of figuring it out on your own. I have tried it and it operates well, monitor works. So far it is very quiet, if anything changes I will update!

Wonderful product

This item is very poor quality. The front stand wiggles back and forth and squeaks while using it. All bolts are tight so this is just poor engineering. I’m very disappointed. The wheel itself is very quiet and I like the phone stand. I just can’t complete a decent workout without my nerves being shot from the sound of the squeaking. Look elsewhere for a home elliptical if noise is bothersome.
