Note these are not flat!
Bought for a case I am making. The parts are pressed from steel with no burrs on edges (slight burr on the underside of the screw hole but this shouldn't cause a problem).I hadn't noticed before I ordered but these are stepped by about 1.5mm so they don't sit flush against a bare surface. However, I am covering my case with 2mm thick leatherette and I have tried these on a piece of scrap wood and found that the leatherette compresses in the area below the step, leaving the rest flush so they are fine for my application.
