Certainly worth considering
Sometimes, it has to be said, it's easier to rake the leaves than use a blower. That said, if you have a very large amount of leaves, then using this is a much better proposition. It has great suction, but it's better still if the leaves are dry; wet they are harder to pick up and very heavy. And, it tends to clog up the blower filter very easily, leaving you with the job of dismantling it to clear them out before the blower can be used; this can be a pain every few minutes. Used as a blower alone, it's much better. Gather a large pile then pick them up with plastic "big hands", easier than vacuuming them as the bag is relatively small. With 3kw it's great as a blower, as above vacuuming has its limitations, something I gather all blower/vacs share.Would I recommend it though? Definitely.

UPDATE no longer working after four years occasional use
Update; just come to use it for the first time since last spring and its completely dead, tried a new fuse without any luck. First Ryobi tool to let me down; disappointing.Have read a number of other reviews on this product, some good, others not so, criticising the zip on the leaf bag for instance. Would tend to agree the zip is not very substantial and some other fastenings are of a very domestic standard. However, like with many things in today's disposable society, it is what it is and does a descent job of blowing leaves away and hovering them up with the simple movement of a leaver. It has two speeds, the higher one is enough to move the stones on the gravel path, so when hovering in these areas, I keep to the lower speed to prevent stones being potentially drawn in and damaging the cutting blade. Comes with a 3 year warranty, which I hope to not to have to test out by being mindful not to be heavy handed in its use.

In case it helps anyone who has a dead one of these
I have been lucky or unlucky to be given one of these blowers, unfortunately it was a dead as a dodo, the good thing i found was that if the large tube was removed and the lid screwed into place it worked (after a quick tap on the hinge) this proved to me that the problem was located in the 2 microswitches that are activated in the slot pic 1, when you close the lid, but also by the little wing shown in picture 2. now this area gets a bit dirty and is probably what is causing the problem of the switched not being operated. spray a bit of wd40 it the slot for a start and put the tube back on making sure that itis pushed right home into the slot, give it a quick test, if it works then thats your problem, how you go about fixing it is up to you but i am 99% certain thats where the problem lies. Mines working fine now after a little mod to make the wing sit a bit closer in. Hope that helps anyone who is having the same problem.

Not as good as I'd hoped
Not as good as I'd hoped. Absolutely fine for vacing or blowing leaves off drives etc but in borders where there is a build up of leaves and some debris it blocks far too readily requiring removal of the bag and clearing the blockage. Removing and reconnecting the bag is also not entirely straight forward.

Customer very disappointed.
Extremely disappointed and annoyed! Used 2 or 3 times in Autumn '18 and then stored in box in garage for winter. Went to use again in November '19 and it wouldn't switch from Suck to Blow and then after 2 mins use on Suck the motor "blew" and that was the end of the machine! I feel very let down by this and would not purchase from you again unless offered a free replacement.
