Perfect Picture
I decided to put an old analogue television in a spare bedroom but there is no aerial socket upstairs. I decided to try an indoor aerial and purchased this one. I just stood it on top of the television and it functions perfectly with an absolutely clear picture and all channels are available. I am so pleased with this and would recommend it to anyone, based on my experience.

Works brilliantly
Bought this for an upstairs bedroom tv and it is great for me. I have open countryside although with some trees but that doesn't seem to matter. So easy to install too and I like the fact that it can stand up on it's own unlike those fiddly flat aerials. Good price also.

A damp piece of string would be better.
I'm 200 metres from the transmitter, but this couldn't pick up one station. It's also the cheapest, flimsiest item I think I've ever got from Amazon. Mercury used to be a decent name for electrical stuff. Shame.

It either works or it doesn't - it did for me!!
For the past 14 years, I have used an outdoor aerial that was originally purchased for OnDigital. I now use Freeview. The signal has degraded recently and over the past month I have lost Freeview channels. It was a case of either getting the aerial repaired, at a cost of over £50, or seeing if there was a cheaper alternative. The Olympik XI aerial has worked with Freeview for some reviewers, and not for others. At under a fiver, I felt it was worth giving it a go. The aerial arrived this morning and took three minutes to set up. I did a new Freeview installation on my set top box. All channels have restored and the picture quality is better than it has been for a few months. For information, I live in a First Floor Flat in the Paddington area of London, and the Aerial is directly by a window. .
