This is a typical 1/4 poly rope. Good for use around water as it will float and will resist rot. Nice line for tying down tarps to avoid wind flap.Price is above average for a short 50 foot roll.

I will buy this brand again when I run out. Millions of ways to use this product!

I used this rope to secure boxes that were shipped halfway around the world. Once in place it is kept fixated by 3 or 4 inch tape over the length of the rope to prevent handlers to use the rope to lift of shift while in transit. Without any doubt, this type of rope has certainly many other uses. I purchased this in particular to hold each large shipping box safe and strong for the long haul. In total I have shipped 8 boxes from Miami to the Philippines in recent years. Boxes tend to be tossed around and with tape alone risk to tear or break. An extra protection from a waterproof rope like this gives you confidence the shipment arrives intact.
