The best $300 I've spent on my pool in awhile. My pool unfortunately gets all the leaves and spring time oak trees stuff in it from my neighbors trees and it was always a task to keep clean. I was having to empty the skimmer multiple times a day and use the net also multiple times a day. It was very time consuming. Now with this floating skimmer it definitely reduces my time spent on cleaning the skimmer and using the net. I still have to do both but this robotic skimmer definitely decreases the amount of time I spend doing it now. Let's put it this way, this last week I've collected a 33 g size trash can full of leaves and the other tree stuff from my pool. With the robotic skimmer it's definitely a game changer and would recommend to anyone that has issues with collecting debris out of their pool.As far as the solar function, it's awesome. I live in NW Florida so even with non sunny days it still charges. It came right out of the box and ran with no problems.Emptying the collection basket is a breeze too. Very easy to life out and just as easy to clean the basket. Perfect size to easily lift out of the water. It's not bulky and isn't heavy.I've had for about a week now and no complaints. I did have to adjust the deflectors on the front and back of it because it kept hanging up on the entry steps. I definitely think it will last and be durable for many seasons to come.Right now I will probably run 24/7 until all the leaves stop falling and whatever else it usually does about this time every year.The remote is nice also, it adds a little fun to it.Overall would definitely recommend.

Works great!! I have a big pool and I wish I would have bought this years ago!! Easy to empty debris basket. Easy to reach on/off switch. Solar will run 24 hrs if I need to. Great product. Been using for 2 weeks. Works better for small debris, not big magnolia leaves.

The Betta-SE robot is by far the single best pool product I've ever bought. It worked tirelessly all last summer and started back up right away this spring. It does a far better job of keeping my pool clean than my expensive, commercial-grade pool robot that I use to clean the bottom of the pool. The Betta-SE catches most things on the surface of the pool before they sink to the bottom.The Betta-SE is an incredibly simple, well-engineered machine. The paddle wheel in the front scoops up debris into a large basket inside, and the propellers in the back keep it moving and turning to get full coverage of the pool in a very short period. It has a spot inside the basket to put a 3" chlorine puck so you don't need to use a separate float for it. To empty the robot, you simply disengage the latch in the front and pull out the basket using the large handle, making it easy to avoid touching any gross items caught in the basket. The solar cells power the robot running on any given summer day that isn't completely overcast, and the batteries keep it running well into the evening after the sun is down. The Betta-SE has extendable feet on the bottom that keep it from getting stuck on any stairs in the pool. The engineers really thought of everything on this robot!I've only had two minor issues on this robot that are hardly worth mentioning. One of the extendable feet fell off at some point and got lost. No big deal. And on one or two occasions over the course of the entire year, the robot stopped running. I simply had to turn the power switch off and on again, and it powered up right away.In short, if you have a pool, buy the Betta-SE!

Would like to rate this a 10. It is fantastic, easy to clean and runs 24/7.. we let our two labs swim and that floating skimmer removes the hair and saves our regular pool filter. Worth every penny. There are several of them in our family, five.

This little machine is a work horse!! It has totally changed the look and cleanliness of our pool. We have a lot of oak trees and palm trees around the pool so we ALWAYS had a layer of something on the top of our pool. Whether it was a layer of pollen from the palm trees or leaves from the oak trees, our pool always had stuff on the top. Whenever we wanted to swim, I would have to first pull out my pool skimmer and skim the entire top of the water.However, now that we have this little guy, I NEVER have to skim the top of our pool and it always looks beautiful! I mean honestly, I think this is the best purchase I've made on Amazon. Our pool always looks clean now. I wish I had known about this product years ago. It really does make a huge difference in how our pool looks. And, this guy never stops! He is always working! I've owned my own business for the past 20+ years and I've had a lot of employees over the years. When I go out back and watch this guy working, I think to myself: " This is the best employee I've ever had!" lol. I mean, you buy it once and you're done. No additional payroll, no payroll taxes, he's not calling in sick or just not showing up, and he NEVER complains, lol.Now of course since it's solar operated there are days where it won't work. But those days are few and far between as we live in Southern California. But even on cloudy days it still works great as it doesn't require full sun to get charged. It just runs and runs almost 24/7. The durability is amazing. I've had this since August, 2023 and it still runs the same as it did the day that we got it.If you have a pool you NEED this product! It will keep the top of your pool free of leaves, dust, dirt, pollen, etc. It feels so much nicer jumping into a pool with a PERFECTLY spotless top layer, rather than having to first skim it and hope I got everything. If you want to look at and swim in a clean pool, you really should buy this wonderful machine.****Update**** It's now 9/25/2024 and my Betta is still running as strong as it was the day I received it! I'm still super happy with this purchase and I am constantly recommending it to all of my friends & family who have pools. The only critique I've had is that sometimes it would get stuck in the skimmer when my pool filter was running. I noticed that they are now including an "anti-stuck foam noodle" to fix this issue. So, I called the company and spoke with Hector. I told him about my issue and he said he would be shipping out the anti-stuck foam noodle in today's mail. Wow, in addition to a GREAT product, they also have GREAT customer service! This is still, by far, one of if not THE best purchase I've made on Amazon.
