wonderful thing, stopped working after a few months - edited replaced by customer service
I absolutely love this machine as it helped me to recover from horrifically swollen and injured ankles following a nasty fall on a wet pavement. I found it impossible to do the exercises I need to stay well and was constantly re-injuring my ankles on slippery pavements.I have hypermobile EDS and my ankles are ridiculously unstable and prone to injury at the best of times. Strenuous weight-bearing exercise is essential for me to stay well and be pain free and nothing thwarts my exercise plans like swollen ankles and the crippling pain associated with plantar fasciitis. This machine helped me to resume my exercise regime at a time when I was feeling rather hopeless about ever regaining my fitness and had put on a ridiculous amount of weight. The device stimulates the small muscles of the foot and the larger muscles of the calf and even, (at higher intensities) the quads and hamstrings. It achieves this without the potential risks of trauma associated with high impact sports and weight bearing exercise and it is this that makes these machines so helpful for rehabilitation of all manner of injuries. There are some features that apply to all of these kinds of machines (I now have a similar Revitive device) so I will describe the qualities that apply to both devices and also to this particular device.Firstly I should say that I have never used the tens pads as my particular disability and condition requires me to maintain muscular strength in order to stay well and reduce pain. I also find dealing with little pants and wires, fiddly and annoying. They are just not for me. So this review will concentrate on the benefits of the EMS element of the device which is I believe the most beneficial element if you wish to regain fitness and to avoid pain rather than to treat painAs someone who has used EMS devices for decades it is always exciting to try a new EMS device and as someone who was long struggled with plantar fasciitis swollen ankles and extreme joint hypermobility. I was very excited when these devices became commercially widely available. I had wanted one of these for ages and could not afford it and was thrilled to be able to try them out when the prices made them affordable. So there are 25 different programs which means 25 different types of electronic muscle stimulation. The different modes work by sending tiny electrical currents that move through the soles of the feet and stimulate the nerves which generate a muscle response and provides the subjective experience of the feet being massaged. The feet are not actually being massaged, they are being exercised and toned in a safe way. Some of the modes feel percussive like the feet being tapped or gently hit some feel like stroking or firmer massage in waves all in all there are 25 different modes so you can go through them and see what works for you. When I first started using this device, I found the stroking wave-like modes to be the most pleasant and useful but as I got used to the device the tapping and percussive modes which felt unpleasant to begin with started to actually feel very nice. Your individual needs may change over time so I would recommend going through the different modes at different times to see what works for you.One of the things I find really exciting about the device, especially as somebody with very flat feet, is that with my feet on the device and the intensity turned up I can see and feel the tiny little muscles in my feet all moving around and being exercised, which is wonderful because the tiny muscles within the foot are very difficult to exercise safely especially if you are tall heavy person with joint hypermobility as I am.As a result of using this device the swelling in my ankles, which wasn't going down because I kept re-injuring myself, finally started to go down. My ankles became more stable and I became more sure footed. Using the device fairly intensively meant that I was up and about and exercising in a way that would not have been possible without it. My ankles, which have been swollen for years and extremely swollen after the fall started to become shapely again. There is still some swelling but it is massively reduced and I hope to reduce it further in time.If you are using a device like this for the first time you may find the tingling sensation to be strange or unpleasant but if you are struggling with foot and ankle problems, especially if associated with plantar fasciitis or joint hypermobility, I would highly recommend persevering with this device.I would recommend gong through the first programme, which provides a short taster of all the different modes, on a low intensity to find the mode that feels easiest to tolerate for you. Once you find the right mode then stick with it for a while you need to work on increasing the intensity. The easiest way to increase the intensity in my experience is to do exactly the same as you would when lifting weights in the gym. You gradually move upwards in terms of intensity and I find it helpful to move up to an intensity which feels a little uncomfortable and to tolerate it maybe just for a few seconds and then when I turn down the intensity a little I am able to tolerate a higher level than I was previously. So, for example, if you can tolerate intensity level 20 comfortably, increase the intensity to as high as you can (say 30?) and tolerate for 10 seconds. Then when you tun it down you will find that you can tolerate 25 comfortably.By tolerating smaller amounts of time at a higher intensity and dropping down you can gradually increase the intensity that you were able to tolerate little by little. If you do this, you should find that within a short period you're able to go up to the highest intensities at which point you will be getting muscle reactions in your quads and hamstrings so your whole entire leg will be exercised through your foot which is awesome really!Of course the extent to which the device works is dependent not only on the intensity but also on how much muscle you heave at the time. The more you use the device the more effective it becomes. Also the more actual exercise you do the more effective it becomes also.I have no idea whether this machine actually helps to circulate blood but it definitely has helped to strengthen my arches, calves and ankles, reduce swelling and foot pain and on the highest setting (I usually use it on the 99 setting) I get a muscle twitch response in my quads and hamstrings, so it's a really impressive thing for achieving shapely legs in a lazy wayI am extremely serious about fitness as without it I spiral into pain and disability to this device has been a lifesaver for me.My device stopped working after a few months, which was disappointing, Having said that I did use it for at least an hour on maximum settings every day. Sometimes I used it for longer (sometimes 2-3 hours when my ankles were very swollen), so I suspect that the average user would not subject it to quite the same level of use as I get out of it.I had lost the customer support contact details and asked Amazon for the details and changed my review to 3 stars. Customer support did eventually reach out to me and have sent me a replacement device so I am changing my review back to 5 stars. To be fair to the company I think I got more than a year’s worth of use out of it in the 6 months or so it worked so I am very happy all roundBecause my health was dependent on a functioning EMS device and it took customer support a while to get back to me I bought a Revitive replacement before customs support replaced this unit, however I can now compare the 2 devices and can recommend each for their different qualities and price points. I am a fan of both devicesAlso the unit I received has the brand "Osito" written on the front, so I'm assuming that this is the same company as Creliver (edit - it is the same company)I will further edit this review with more detailed information as to the pros and cons of this device

A great Xmas gift
Had this as an Xmas present. Great choice of vibration modes, I would advise that you run through all pre-programmed settings and select the one(s) that are most suitable for you, personally.

I like the massage feature. It doesn't get warm.
I like the massage. I didnt like that it really doesn't get warm. I didnt like that you started at a 1 when you changed soul modes. This remote works better than nothing. This only has 1 set of tens unlike others that have 2.

Comfy feet
The only thing I would change about this is, I wish you could charge it and then carry it and use it anywhere. Having to plug it in is problematic.
