I recently purchased the REACHER Wood Grain Sunrise Alarm Clock and Sound Machine Nightlight as a more affordable alternative to the popular (but pricey) Hatch alarm clock. I was a little hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I gave this one a try—it’s exceeded my expectations.I use it as my work alarm, and I love being able to customize both the sound options (26 in total!) and the light brightness. Instead of being jolted awake by a loud beeping alarm, I now wake up gradually with the soft light that mimics the sunrise. It’s a peaceful start to the day, and I genuinely feel better and more refreshed when I get up.There are three style options to choose from, and the wood grain finish gives it a nice, calming aesthetic for the bedroom. I know there are a lot of choices on Amazon, but I’m very happy with this one—it offers great value and functionality without breaking the bank.

Okay, so this isn't the alarm that gets me out of bed, but I do love it. I'd seen it online a few times and I liked the idea of "getting a sunrise" to help regulate your nervous system, especially if you have to get up before the actual sun. My work schedule has me up between 2am and 4am every day, so I was hoping this would help me. The answer is actually yes. After weeks of using it (with alarm sounds), I set it this morning with no sound, just the light, and I did end up waking up around the same time that it lit up. So that seems to be working more than I anticipated it would!I also absolutely love all the extra features it has. I fall asleep with the thunder going and a blue light most nights, sometimes the water one is nice. I can see how it would be useful for kids, too -- there are different sounds that a baby might find comforting, and the light can be adjusted to be really bright or pretty dim. I keep mine pretty dim, because I don't necessarily need the light to fall asleep. The sound is really clear. It was easy to set up, and it stays on your settings if unplugged or you have a brief power outage.So far, I am in love with this. It's exactly what I was looking for and it's extremely helpful.

I was skeptical due to the Hatch and Phillips brand names having a large share of the market on wake up lights, but thought I would try it as the price was really competitive and I was not impressed by a recent purchase (and return) of the $50 Philips one (that is in the same price range with far less features). Definitely read the set up instructions carefully (they have a nice quick guide included too for basic functionality) as there is learning curve due to the many features. I do wish there were more sounds than 4 for the wake up sound, but the birds (like other reviewers stated) is my favorite. Light is very nice for waking up. Being able to adjust the brightness of the clock light and the night light (gorgeous colors and selection there too) via back of the unit easy to reach dials is very convenient and excellent for customization. The 26 sleep sounds are fabulous too so it really is a multi purpose unit. Attractive design (I got the white base). Definitely a recommended buy. Will see how it hold up over time. Would be a 5 except for the learning curve and wishing it had more than 4 alarm sounds to pick from.

My husband and I have issues waking up in the morning so we decided to give this a try, I am surprised how well it has helped. The light gets incredibly bright and is adjustable if you want it a little dimmer, even the clock light can be dimmed which is a big deal for someone who like a pitch black room at night. The sounds are fair though dont expect it to sound like a UE speaker, good selection of alarm sounds and sleep sounds. The light color can be changed, and there is a timer that can be adjusted to turn the light and sound off at night if you decide to have it on while falling asleep, the alarm starts the sunrise process about 10 or 15 minutes before the alarm and slowly gets brighter which helps us naturally begin to wake up even before the alarm goes off. It looks nice and is really easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues waking up with anxiety or panic because a loud alarm is going off suddenly ripping you from a dead sleep, it never hurts to try it.

I bought this because the price was better than the alternatives. I bought it mainly for the slow sunrise function which works very well. I was curious if the light would wake me before it reached full "sunrise" and the alarm went off. It hasn't so far. You can change the actual alarm tones from birds to vacuums to truck engines idling, but I like the birds best. It's definitely easier to wake up with this alarm compared to a traditional alarm, but you have to be serious about getting up when the alarm goes off to actually notice a difference in how you feel waking up compared to a beeping alarm.There are a variety of color options and other modes to choose from, but I mainly use it as a sunrise alarm and for that purpose I'm very pleased. I also like how you can adjust the brightness of the time display and I like that it has a 12 and 24 hour display option (I prefer the 24 hour clock).

This is the sweetest little alarm! I've had it for 7 months, and it works beautifully. (I shopped around for a LONG time and am pleased with the one I finally chose.) My favorite things about this alarm: I like the simple, pretty design with the wood grain on the lower part, I LOVE how you can have the time be bright or very faint or completely off, and I am surprised at how much I enjoy the (multiple color options) night light. The clock has a calming effect and is pretty. (I'm not a fan of the sound options for the alarm, though, but the sunrise effect is why I purchased.)
