Excellent edge control, slicks the hair and holds for at least 2 days. It’s thick but spreads well if you warm it in your hand. A little goes a long way. Have used to slick 3c/4a hair back into a ponytail. If you wet your brush you can reactivate it the next day when you do your hair without having to use more gel. Have used over a wash and go (leave in conditioner and aloe Vera gel and used as the final sealant ). Defines curls well and gives a wet almost greasy look at first especially if you go too heavy but as I use it on freshly washed hair it’s ok for me. As I find it keeps my hair beautifully moisturised for days sealing my other products in well. I finish my wash and go with a hair dryer on low heat or under a hooded dryer as I find this gets rid of the greasy look and leaves my hair soft. It washes out easily and I haven’t experienced damage, dryness or tangles after use. My hair is soft and defined. Only issues I had was when I first started using it daily it made my hair gummy. So definitely just wet your brush the next day to reactivate the wax rather than pile on more, and remember a little goes a long way. Excellent for braiding or retwisting locs. Now go slick those edges and pop them curls sis👑Update December 2021So unfortunately I have had to stop using this unless I’m really desperate and even then I have to water it down. It seems this has been stealthily breaking my hair😩I’m not sure how maybe because the hols is so good that any manipulation can seemingly make the hair break. I kept finding weird tiny locs in my hair which I think was the reason hair broke at certain areas. This is a shame because it really gave the look I wanted but it’s not worth losing hair over. I literally look like I have had layers cut into my hair now.I was told by someone else that the orange one is much better to use as it’s a bit less hold but I have yet to try that one

Amazing product may need to balance out the amount of product you use i have to use eco gel and the product so that i don’t get flakes or so that my hair doesn’t lift. I can use this product for edges, holds very well, and to sleek hair. Great Product definitely recommend but the price wasn’t this expensive before.

By far the best styling gel I’ve used, my hair is 4B and it works well, no flaking or white cast.

Very good for afro hair last months and great value for money. No glue like white dry patches. Would recommend.

I purchased this alongside the gummy gel, I typically mix together and apply to my freshly washed, damp hair when I want to wear my hair slicked back. It smells pleasant, but not too strong or overbearing. It sets my hair for 2-3 days, leaves a nice natural sheen, not too greasy looking which is a plus (although I love the sheen and the waves it creates). I typically spray with water then apply a top up on day 3, then will wash it and start all over again.
