I thought I would give these a try since you can charge them with USB. I go through too many batteries. I was really surprised at how far they light. Very bright. Brighter than any of my other flashlights. Still holding a charge. So far I like them a lot.

you wanna light up the night this is the flashlight for you. the various strengths of the light give you options for brightness when using. this light is great. Can use rechargable batteries which charge in a C port or AAA batteries in situations where you cant recharge it.

Bought this for my daughter around Halloween because she worked at a haunted trail type venue. She had to walk to my car in the dark between midnight and 2am to get picked up. I wanted something that was bright enough to blind someone if need be and trust this is. Luckily she only had to use the dimmer settings but it has several potentially disorienting settings if need be. Never know when a few extra seconds can make a big difference.

These are bright! The different light functions make it a great for different situations. We bought them to have because we'll, who doesn't need flashlights? They charge in a responsible amount of time. The charge lasts a long time. Its durable and the button to switch the light fuction is sturdy. I thought it would wear out but it's still sturdy and working like brand new. We bought a set for my in-laws and my FIL said they're one of the best sets he's ever had. They got a flat tire just after dark one night and he keeps one in the car. He was able to use the blinking feature to alert cars that were oncoming. It will be a great gift for anyone.

The problem is that the batteries are G A R B A G E. One of the batteries held the full charge for exactly 20 minutes. The solution is simple. I bought a pair of Yehofova 3.7volt Rechargeable Battery Genuine18650 Lithium 3.7 Volt, for $ 10.00 hoping that these batteries will be better than the awful quality batteries the flashlights came with. I'll let you know in 6 months. The second battery held its useful charge for 4 hours, even though the light was on for 5 hrs. The last hour is for show and tell, no practical purpose.I replaced the bad battery, while I wait to receive the 2 new batteries, with 3 AAA eneloop batteries made by Panasonic. The flashlight comes with a plastic container to use 3 AAA batteries. They had a useful time of 3 hours, with 1 hour for show and tell. Panasonic makes some of the best batteries in my book, I have been using a couple of their 18650 rechargeable batteries in a more powerful flashlight I have owned for the past 4 years and they are still going strong. I live in 2.5 acres so they get a great deal of use.One caveat; these flashlights are not small and light weight. They are medium size. In between a night table flashlight and a powerful one.
