Solid TV for the price
As a previous geek squad home theatre installer. I was familiar with what i’d be getting buying this. Everyone either loves or hates the LG remote. I personally love it and the out of the box experience you get with LG tv’s. LG’s home menu isn’t the most user friendly but it’s easily usable and isn’t clunky. Things seem to load just fine and have had no issues with it. If you aren’t a fan of the remote or the home menu, which most people aren’t. I would highly suggest going with a similar samsung/sony tv.Overall, i’d give the tv an 8 out of 10. Picture quality is great and have had no complaints watching older movies, and content that is upscale to 4k. Obviously an OLED will have better image quality but for this price point i think it’s an amazing purchase.I can’t speak to much on the sound as i’m using this TV with a Sonos surround audio setup. That works great and no issues there.

Fantastic picture
First and foremost , the picture really is excellent ! Bright colors and crisp lines are had with the factory default settings . The settings interface is far different than anything I've been used to but once you figure things out , they're fine . The sound is average for a TV , but with a picture this good a sound bar really is in order . My only complaint is the remote . It isn't back-lit and the buttons have little to no tactile feel . I just about need a light on to use it . It does fit my hand nicely . The cursor is somewhat unique but a little hard to use at first . It has a setting to slow it down and that helped a lot . The cursor does make most operations faster than the also included , standard , four position cursor ring . Overall , I just love this TV after using it for the last month .

My 1st LG TV
This was my 1st LG TV, Replacing my other primary tv, that had recently died. I found the picture quality to be very good, And I'm very satisfied. At 1st I found it's unique remote a little bit more difficult to use, but that began to grow on me. It's almost like having a virtual computer mouse in your hand, which took a bit of getting familiar with, but wasn't that hard. I found The configuration settings, a little burdensome to get thru , but again it wasn't that difficult. Overall, for it's good price point, I find myself very satisfied with it's picture quality and features, including the smart TV features built in.

Amazing Quality for the price
Great TV with all the features we were looking for. Amazing picture and very easy to install. We have it mounted and it was easy to manage. Very happy with all my LG products.

Great TV Hard to use remote
This is my 4th LG all different sizes from 42 to 65 in. All were great. Easy to set up. Good picture and sound. Only problem is the Magic remote is difficult to learn as compared to all the other ones.

Nice TV!
Nice TV with good color and depth! The streaming services are a bit off - not sure if that's LG's issue or the services - you get the option to login via the TV or a computer. If you select the TV and try to login to an existing account it only provides the option to setup a new one, you have to login via computer which was easy to do.

Worst Interface Imaginable
Our last 55" TV was an LG smart TV and was so easy to use. After 15 years it had to be replaced, so we thought we'd go with another lg. This unit had very good reviews and was the size we needed. It was very easy to set up and has a good picture, but that's that's where the pros end. As I had read, the magic wand rollerball is overly sensitive at times, them doesn't work at all. The interface is mind numbingly chaotic. The onscreen menus go on forever and there seems to be no easy way to maneuver through the options. LG also seems to have over 900 "LG stations", but they're all useless. Sorting through all the options takes forever, to the point that we're so frustrated we just give up. The basic picture technology is comparable to any other brand, but its the quality of the interface that makes this unit such poor choice.

The winner in Smart tv
This is my 5 th LG tv in 10 years from Amazon. the features , technology as expected improve Each year , without loosing the exceptional picture and sound. set up was easy, My apps were an easy scan , auto set up on my ipad / or phone. No need for manual entry of passwords etc. the LG site is very helpful if you issues or questions. The remote has voice control which is fabulous and a mouse to navigate the screen. My only complaint is the Settings section, changing settings has 3 or 4 click through pages, my other LG tvs have a much easier settings page. I am sure after getting used to it , it will be fine. I don’t need to change settings continually anyway. Shipping was fast, earlier than expected with UPS.
