I really like this product as it is excellent for the treatment of blepharitis/dry eyes. However, I do think that the heating instructions need to be over-stressed ... i.e. when using a microwave, heat in 10 second bursts, with small gaps in between. Without the breaks the plastic film on the front inflates like a balloon and will eventually become damaged or might even explode!

Love this eye mask, was even better than I expected. You can wear the mask two ways which I didn't realise when I bought it. Its great you can wear the mask on the soft comfy side to sleep in then when you wake up flip it around for the cooling peas to wake tired eyes. Works great to sooth eyes during hay-fever season.

I have been using this mask for blepharitis symptoms and it works in that respect. However, there seems to have been a build up of fluid within the mask. I dont know if this is normal or if the beads inside are leaking. I dont know what those beads are made of and worry that it is unsafe to use the mask when this leakage occurs. It is easy to use with a microwave. However, do NOT microwave for more than 10 seconds at a time as this can easily cause damage or over heating. I found that 2-3 ten second microwaving is more than enough for 15 mins treatment.

I ordered this for my husband as his hayfever was causing his eyes to be itchy and inflamed. It arrived faster than expected which was great, and is soothing to his eyes having been in the fridge for about an hour (maybe a little more).
