Does what it says IF YOU follow the instructions/video (available on KT website)
I bought this KT Flex to support my knee whilst skiing replacing the use of a knee brace.A bit of background... I have a couple of old injuries on my knee that require support - ACL tear and missing cartilage (bucket handle tear has been removed). I have previously used wrap-around knee braces and found that using a brace, my knee develops a baker's cyst as well as my calf swelling (presumably due to the brace restricting normal blood flow) leaving me with pain in the knee and calf to ski with! I have been using the brace for years. Not ideal but it seemed to work to some affect.Fed up with the swelling and pain previously experienced (and I started a good exercise routine for developing my overall strength and fitness levels), this year I decided to look for an alternative knee support solution looking into using KT Tape and found the KT Flex. Reading up on this, it made me feel that I should give this a go.I'm so glad I did! No more calf swelling, no baker's cyst and the KT Flex gave me the level of support that I needed to enjoy my ski holiday! I'm sure my exercise routine had some affect too! Now, about using the KT Flex...I read some reviews and found that the best advice was about making sure that you follow the instructions AND to make sure that there are no hairs on where you apply it (I use an epi-lady) and CLEAN your already cleaned skin with rubbing alcohol to get rid of any oils (70% maximum only to get it in your luggage on a plane) immediately prior to applying. So, how long did they stay on? I found that the first set lasted for 2 days (having put them on the night before needed) and the second set I applied on the morning just prior to hitting the slopes lasted for 4 days! They lasted beyond the time I expected them to - very pleased!Only one issue - the box and instructions it came in from Amazon were not in English. I got around this by looking on the KT website. Good videos available there as well as the standard instructions for the KT Flex.I would definitely use the KT Flex in future!

Definitely gave support and was not bulky.
Used for skiing. Was concerned that a twinge in the side and back of my knee felt that I might twist. The tape definitely gave me support and therefore confidence.

Good in theory, but..
The idea is a good one, but the plastic breaks easily and ends up not being as supportive as it could be.Product could be improved if there was one plactic rib with a metal core (to add flexibility and strength), with strips you can add the rib too like a refill (reduce waste).

They really work.
This tape is great at supporting your knee and reducing pain until you recover.

Doesn't Stay On
I have significant bone damage in my left knee and have tried many different types of support. I even use normal KT tape on occasion which has had much more impact in supporting the issues I have with my knee than the KT Flex Pro Support. The KT Flex Pro promises much but delivers very little. The biggest failure for me was that it didn't stay in place and once it started to peel away from the knee after only 20 minutes; it was rendered useless. Save your money by not purchasing the KT Flex Pro Support.

Good if stays on.
I could feel it doing the job but not sure if it was due to running at -2C/5C that they just kept coming unstuck even on a shaved leg( don't get this with normal KT). So being it turns each run into almost £5 not sure they are worth it better to use tape and a reuseable brace.

It's so helpful
Ran the NYC Marathon with this, kept my knee in place and less pain than without.
