Ford Mustang Car Wireless Charger, Cell Phone Qi Charging Station Pad fits for 2015-2023 Ford Mustang Accessories

This works as advertised. Car is 2020 Ford Mustang GT. Phone used is an older iPhone XS with a protective case, no button or loop on the back. Installed very easily. Fit in the car is very good, basically looks like it came with the car. Car has cigarette power port door so broke off the perforated tab on the right side of the charger as instructed. Wasn’t necessary but smoothed the perforated edge just a bit. The wireless charging has been flawless for me and is used and appreciated. I haven’t had a reason to use the additional USB port as of yet. I’ve never used the power button on the unit yet either. The unit stays on for a long time when the car is shut off. This is a function of the car’s power port I think. Overall I would say this unit exceeded my expectations since I purchased this on a whim and was a little skeptical. I’m very pleased. Bottom line is I would purchase this again if my next car needed one.

Overall is a great idea, the Mustangs designs are back in the 29th century when it comes to gadgets, this is about the most practical gadget. The design could be a little better though. It is kind of thick, maybe because of the active cooling system built in? Not sure but I do hear a light hiss and seems like there is air coming out of the built in vents. This is where some issues are, if you have a thick phone, or a phone with a case, it be hard to make it work, the top lip of the Mustang's console bottom will interfere with you being able to slide the phone all the way to the back of the charger, I had to take my phones case off. The size of the phone will be an important factor too, if your phone is longer than I would say 6 1/2" if will hang from one of the sides and it won't make contact for it to charge. My recommendations are, make the charger deeper, or thinner, depending on how look at it. Make it wider so longer phones will fit The rubber portion of the base is a great feature, but maybe if it can be lowered, because it will interfere with the phones sliding in or fit. I got lucky because my phone flips close and is pretty thin. I can't say anything about durability and if the phone will overheat, but since it is charging in low charge it might not. Just my 2 cents.

Interesting concept, but barely fits where it's supposed to go, being plugged into the lighter and USB. Tray is too think to fit the phone and is too small for Samsung 24 & 25. They're too long and do not lay down to charge. Might work for a tiny phone but standard size won't fit. Too bad we waited too long to install it so I'm stuck with something that will never work properly. Chinese junk!

worked well for a week now it just makes my phone hot without charging it. Might try again and couldve been a fluke. keeping because my 2020 doesnt have usb-c and this adapter does

When installed can't use power button. My S23 with otterbox case too large for charging phoneToo expensive for what you get.Had to try several times to get it into place. Returned.

The charging pad initially was angled up in the front creating a gap. I added some additional 3M tape and it laid perfectly flat after pressing it in place. All the edges and contours shape perfectly to the car and it fits my iPhone 15 perfectly and charges through the case. I don’t think a larger phone will fit.

Fits, but the charging pad is too small for a normal sized phone. I may have worked for an original iPhone size or something smaller.
