Sparky fox has been a big hit with my three year old daughter, she has asked for it reading to her on more than one occasion. Sparky fox is part of the magic pet shop series of books.The story has a positive message to it. Prince Zac must help his friend Sparky Fox find his way home even though it means missing out on some fun activities himself. The story shows how's it's important to be there for your friends when they need your support.I also like that it's Prince Zac's choice to stay with Sparky Fox and that this decision is sometimes hard for him. I think children can gain an empowering life lessons from it. The story is also set in Autumn, so it's also perfect for reading at this time of year. The story flows nicely and has a good pace. The illustrations are detailed, magical and engaging.
